HungFist, please be sure to have a look out for "The Two in Tracksuits" , another sort of brilliant Japanese movie which I saw on the Nippon Connection. If subs should become available, please do yourself a favour and buy the DVD. Once more this is casual and relaxed filmmaking at its best, about a ...

Gamer-Geeks, Splatter-Fanboys and Otaku-Pervs rejoice, for the trailer of the sequel "OneChanbara: vorteX" finally has arrived! New leading actress as well, 24-year old Gravure-Idol Yuu Tejima. This doesn't look very sophisticated either I'd rather watch this than "Hypertrophy Genitals Girl". But I agree, looks kinda forced and stockfull of badly timed slapstick. If I get to watch it for little money, then so be it, but I definetely won't seek it out. I'll stick to "Samurai Princess" inst...

On the Nippon Connection, during that Pinku Eiga Retrospective I more or less attended, I had the chance to ask Mamoru Watanabe a few questions. He's one of the leading persons in the Pink Genre, a Pioneer even, now about 80 years old and has made over 300 movies. He's pretty respectable and dignifi...

You're actually one of those who mistook "Tokyo Gore Police" for some Trash-Spectacle, while it's really an Avantgardistic Masterpiece. :D Nothing wrong there, as far as I can see. But I'll give your TGP-remake a chance, as well. Seriously, TGP was the most intense and awesome experience I've had in...

He's just into (contextual) Nudity and Sexual Situations. Because that's what Exploitation is all about. Very different of just showing some random Sex-Scene. :P

Samurai Princess (More Awesomeness by those TGP-Guys)

Can't believe no one has made a thread yet. :D The story takes place sometime, somewhere in a world during the Samurai era, where people live together with highly developed mechanical dolls. However, excessively developed mechanical dolls start causing harm to the human society, leading to ghastly b...

Too much of too fast talking and vicious over-acting in the second part. Furthermore most of the sex-scenes involve that ugly bald guy, and Shu Qi turns out to be a Transvestite , thus destroying an otherwise beautiful lesbian encounter. Arguably the worst of the bunch. Sex in the first part is pret...

Taxes. ;) They're calculated seperately and added upon the final amount.
And usually German DVDs cost about 12-20 EUROS; that's why I get most of my flicks used, or I trade them.

Re: Worst blockbuster movie you've seen?

My vote goes to Wild Wild West-utter drivel.what's your least favourite blockbuster movie :) Way underrated movie. :D There aren't too many movies out there with a Steampunk-Setting (which I absolutely dig). This is a decent one. This and Katsuhiro Otomo's "Steamboy". Yesterday I was kinda forced t...

I cannot tell for Hung-Fist, but I watched an uncut ARTE-Screening on TV once, and there's also a German DVD available. US- and UK-DVD both go under the name of "The great Silence":

It's a great movie. And curiously the first title that popped into my mind when I read about Hideo Gosha's "Goyokin". Snow-Setting and all. Samurai-Flicks and Spaghetti-Western sure do have something in common. You like one genre, chances are high you also dig the other. :D
