Re: I've just got banned from KFC!

I hate that no-PMing (reminds me of HKMDB and even if you are logged in you cannot PM.) Do you have any copies of what you wrote? Right now I just do not have an interest in the new Ghostbusters. Rogerbert.com had this bizarre article from one of its writers basically stating that if you had no inte...

Good to know. I've been wanting to watch it for awhile and it is not that hard to get a hold of.

Bruce Lee Special Newsweek Edition: 75 Years of the Dragon It was displayed on many newsstands (US) with the "Display until December 26, 2015." It cost 10.99 dollars. Re: Hong Kong WIP Movie Spiteful Women 1978

Unfortunately there is that possibility that the prints may be gone. If the negatives (or positives) were not exported, HK Is not a great place to keep film as it deteriorates there rather rapidly if not kept in a specifically cool, not humid vault.

For some reason even if you login you cannot PM anyone. I'll have to check to see if I have bkasten's email. I believe Brian T has it.

Post a spoiler about the original ending and I'll tell you if it's the same. The Juan José Campanella film I'll quote end of the synopsis (fixing a spelling error): Sneaking inside, he is shocked to find that Morales has a makeshift cell in his home and that he has kept Gómez chained inside for ove...

Secret in Their Eyes (2015-USA-Spain-UK-South Korea) **½ It's not usually a good idea for Hollywood to remake a Best Foreign Language Picture winner... and this isn't an exception. However, it's pretty watchable, with a good, haunting performance by Julia Roberts. I wasn't crazy about the original,...

I obviously liked this more than you did... a first, perhaps? ;) Yes :D, though my rating/review was similar to both John Charles and Paul Fonoroff. I did see this several times over the past month though :D, looking for tidbits I missed. Still love the ending though. That DVD did not help (though ...

Bury Me High (1991: Tsui Siu-ming: Hong Kong)

In the small country of Carrinan (an obvious allegory to Vietnam; though filmed in Mainland China), a rich traveler Nguen (Paul Chun: also a bad guy in All for the Winner ) is looking for a burial spot, according to the rules of feng shui ’s sepulchral veneration (aka good burial spot of family that...

What was your name on there? What is annoying is that the contact information does not seem to be there (or is of no use), even after logging in. The only thing I now after logging in is usually to post or edit a review of mine.

Ip Man 3 has been watched. So has Notorious Eight. Unfortunately it ended up being a bootleg. There are a couple of main type of bootlegs out there, most of them end up being Region Free. another long-winded review for everyone: “We’ll call him God of Shits instead.” – man about to lose over 10 million dollars. “Great I’ll be Donald Trump.” – Sing (Stephen Chow) “Don’t rape women. “How about men?” “That’ll be fine.”” “I lost all my special power. Elysium (2013-USA) **½ Not bad sci-fi actioner offers topical parallels to the current migrant crisis; Matt Damon is good, though most everyone else is strangely mannered or hammy. It is funny seeing Dean Shek clones at the time. Shek can be annoying enough. This film sounds pretty bad. Only one review on HKMDB. Yours is definitely better than the one there.
