Mikie Hara is definitely on my list ;)

Bloody Battle, best Japanese action film in 30 years?! High praise indeed, but well deserved!

I don't know if you have seen this making of vid for Hard Revenge Milly: Bloody Battle, but it's pretty good seeing Nao practicing with weapons.

There isn't much competition, I'm afraid...

Bloody Battle really hit the nail... ultra cool cyber punk direction + Nishimura Eizo gore effects + breath taking action choreography. No jokes, no CGI gore/action and no stuntmen. That's excatly how it should be done.

I watched it a few years ago when I got the dvd... if I remember correctly, she was serving something delicious for the crew

I'm thrilled to announce that the very first interview with actress Nao Nagasawa in English took place this morning (UK time) via webcam. As expected, she's lovely and very down-to-earth, laughed a lot (at me rather with me, probably :) )

The webcam video is excellent quality, so all being well, will be uploaded along with transcription this week on http://diversejapan.com/ Will post the link to it here when its been done.

Just to let you know that my interview with actress Nao Nagasawa will be posted on http://diversejapan.com/ in a couple of days - I'm just waiting to be sent some images from her management. Unfortunately, the interview will be text version only and not video as hoped. However, here is a screen grab of Nao from the actual interview which took place via webcam on Monday 31st, January 2012, so you can see how lovely she looked on the day.
