Has anybody watched the last episode of the 3rd season yet?

Yeah but its a good job I didn't read anything on the net about it before I watched it, otherwise that would have ruined the ending for me...

I loved Beverley Hills 90210 back in the day but this looks to just be a remake of that so I've not bothered, not that a remake is a bad thing per say.

My TV habits have greatly moved on since then too.

I never watched Beverly Hills 90210 so I can't tell you if The OC is similar to it or not. All I know is that the 1st season of The OC is amazing drama & a lot of it I can really relate to... I am like Ryan & things that have happened to him have happened to me in real life so I can relate really well to the show...

Fair enough. Was BH90210 before your time? Okay I didn't love BH90210 but I liked it.

I watched 90210 a bit when I was a kid, but always preferred Baywatch.

Still do. 8)

When was it on TV? Late 1980s? I was born in 1984 so I think it probably was a bit before my time!

1990 to 2000 - http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0098749/

I wouldn't have seen it if it was the 1980s as I would've been to young. I loved them about the same but when I discovered girlies BH90210 quickly nose dived :D

Ah right. No I never got into it. In fact I don't recall ever seeing it on TV at all...

But anyway, The OC is fantastic, and what a shocking end to this season!

Season 2&3 of The OC have been pretty rubbish after the strong first season. The first season had infinitely quotable witty dialogue, the latter two have been too obsessed with recurring characters and other rubbish. The shift drastic between season 1 & 2 was probably due to Doug Liman's departure as a producer.

Geez, I'm 2 years younger than you and remember watching BH90210. The guy with blonde curly hair and Tori Spelling annoyed me.
