Heads up - Bruce Lee - Martial Arts Superstar - Wednesday on

Post by grim_tales »

Just giving people a heads up for this Bruce Lee docu which is on Five next week :D I bet it wont tell us anything we dont already know though....
Followed by Enter The Dragon (10.05) - it would be interesting to see the ORIGINAL theatrical cut, I've only seen the '98 version.
The Big Boss (12.05am) - appears to be the dubbed release (same as the old 4 Front VHS and the HKL DVD), this would be cool to see uncut (the longer print I mean) and in Mandarin :D

Thanks Grim.

Why is ETD shown every bloody time a Bruce Lee feature is on. It's a lot of fun but not his best. Come on show "First of Fury!".

How long is it? (the documentary).

Yeah, I'd rather see "Fist Of Fury" - thats his best film IMO. :)
ETD is 2 hours long including ad breaks so I would imagine it would be the uncut version.

The docu is 1 hr 5 mins long.

I'd buy "Boss" again if Fortune Star released them seperately, so I could have better than HKL picture + a Mandarin track :D

I'd do the same with Fist of Fury, for the increased picture quality. The Mandarin soundtrack doesn't interest me greatly, does it have the war cries? (accurate or not I'd not be happy to lose them).

It's the only one that interests me enough to own two copies.
