Has anyone heard of a film called Let The Bullets Fly? This review says its very good.

A kind of version of Robin Hood (apparently) set in the 1920's and a bit like a Western.

Re: Asian Movies in HD!
Nice news, though I'd be more excited if I had not watched Tetsuo in cinema last week, would not be watching Kotoko and Isn't Anyone Alive in cinema next week, and wouldn't be buying the Japanese Love Exposure and Himizu BDs in July...
I hope they will get the Studio Canal 5.1 mix for Tetsuo (or something comparable). As a rare twist, it's better than the original mono track (no new effects or anything, it's just much more clear and punchy).

I'm wondering which cut of Tetsuo it'll be as well. I only just got round to watching Tetsuo the other week, I didn't love it but might check out the Blu-ray anyway.

Hopefully the original theatrical one. The extended version is inferior... (though the transfer is fantastic!)

Bruce only made 4.5 films but I didn't think they were with Amity (whomever that is...?)
As for Lo Lieh and Angela Mao given their extensive back catalogues that could be anything.

According to the blu-ray.com forums, the UK Rumble in the Bronx disc is 89 mins, and looks horrible.

Same old US version then... but that's no surprise.
No word about BBFC cuts (their website lists only a cut version).

Re: Asian Movies in HD!
I was hoping for a boxset of 6 (or at least 4) BD's - 6 movies on 2 discs doesnt sound right
Apparently theyre redoing the subtitles - I saw nothing wrong with the old ones (and they explained all the old Japanese words, etc)

Re: Asian Movies in HD!
Finally! Kadokawa is releasing some of their idol catalogue on BD in Japan. Included are all of their Hiroko Yakushimaru films and some Noriko Watanabe and Tomoyo Harada films. Sadly, the BD's seem to be barebones (only trailers / TV spots listed for the ones I cheched). Though that's kinda considerate in the sense that now the original, occasionally extras packed dvds do not lose their value...
In addition they are re-issuing their Yusaku Matsuda BD's, plus releasing Fukasaku's Virus though I can't think of any idol to be found in that one, unless you count that sweetheart Sonny Chiba. Chiba's G.I. Samurai* is also included, plus the idol films in which he played supporting role: Hiroko's Legend of the 8 Samurai, and Watanabe's Ninja Wars. Oh, and Shihomi's Second is a Christian and Haruki Kadokawa's Dirty Hero are also included.
* if fact, Hiroko is in G.I. Samurai, though in a very small role.
Hiroko!!!
Harada!!!
Watanabe!
Virus & Second is a Christian
The discs are quite affordable by JP standards... 2,940 street price, and with amazon's pre-order only 2000. Though I own almost all of these on dvd, I think I'm gonna have to upgrade at least a few of them (Sailor Suit and Machine Gun, Virus, the Chibas...)

It's weird how Japan releases Blu-rays in black cases, they look cool. The Criterion ones are the best though.

These covers look so cool, far better than some of the cack UK companies come out with.
I like the look of black BD cases too.
