So many movies, so little time and money. Viewing projects you have currently on hold, just waiting for the right time (and lottery win) to come.

Katsu-shin's Zatoichi movies (23 films remaining)
Furyo Bancho (Delinquent Boss) series (16 films)
Abashiri Prison and New Abashiri Prison series (18 films)
All other Ken Takakura Toei Yakuza movies (a lot of films)
Hibari Misora movies (a large number of films)
Jo Shishido Nikkatsu Action movies (plenty of films)
Akira Kobayashi Nikkatsu Action movies (too damn many films)
Moon Lee movies
Italian spaghetti, giallo and horror

- Italian/Spanish Spaghetti Western (you gotta have a hobby besides Japanese films :D)
- Anime Series (GitS: SAC, Serial Experiments Lain, Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent)
- More Miike Movies (currently I've watched 27)
- I'm almost through with the work of Takashi Ishii, so I may just as well move to another interesting director. Satoshi Miki for instance.

This basically an online memo for my own use, but what the hell. I always lose my word files and forget what films I was supposed to track down. Someone else may find recommendations from the list, too.

Films I need to remember to watch / buy before I die

On DVD or likely to receice a DVD release
Seishun H (青春H) series
Birthright (臍帯) (2010)
Never Ending Blue (終わらない青) (2009)
14-sai no harawata (14
Dotei Horoki (童貞放浪記) (2009)
Double Suicide Elegy (心中エレジー) (2005)
No Pants Girl (ノーパンツ・ガールズ ~Movie Box-ing2~) (2004)
Suicide Chain (連鎖自殺 メル友) (2004)
Inuneko 35mm + 8mm (犬猫) (2004 / 2001)
Moon and Cherry (月とチェリー) (2004) and other Tanada films

Second Priority
Koroshiya Sachi (殺し屋サチ) (2011)
Neko to kingyo no koi monogatari
Shoujo senso (少女戦争) (2011)

No DVD release
Kyojima 3rd St., Sumida City (墨田区京島3丁目) (seen it, the best film of 2010)
Sekai Gudo Moningu!!) (2010)
Live Tape (ライブテープ) (2009)

Others
Tokyo Grad. Works Collections 1-4

Maybe, hmmm,
Echo of Silence (コトバのない冬) (2008)

Done, clear, progress
Anarchy in Japanty (アナーキー・イン・じゃぱんすけ) (1999)
Cream Lemon: Another Day of Ami
Barren Illusion (大いなる幻影) (1999)

ok, so that was some stuff that I'm more or less likely to forget (and hence need to check here from time to time). I don't need to write down HellDriver and Yakuza Weapon will kick ass, those I can remember, duh.
