Nice! How good's your spoken Japanese now? Fluent?

I'm learning Spanish next month, hoping to move to Spain sometime over the next 4 years or so.

Not quite. Sometimes I'm doing fine, sometimes I feel I don't understand a bloody thing.

Actually, only Asami is an AV star. Some of Noboru Iguchi directorial features come close to AV though, I believe...

The guy nowstairs has left his ski bag on the corridor behind the corner. Every time I go down I think there's a big black man standing.

It's 100% black, so I couldn't really mistake it as a white man.

And it's about a man's size.

And behind the corner.

That's better prices than you'd usually get over here, 13 plates of just salmon nigirizushi would cost you around £26/3630yen! Luckily I live near Birmingham and there's a couple of sushi joints there that do all-you-can-eat for £10.

You can get to astronomical sums here too if you want to. Everybody's always paying close attention to the plate color... red ones, yellow ones, black ones I can afford, the pinks are for millionaires.

Tabehodai, love these places. Went to Unga shokudou on Friday. Tried to invite all the girls I know, but with very poor results; 7 guys, and one married woman came. D'oh  Next time I will pick a better time. But the food was great. It's normally 1800 yen (£13), but we had discount coupon so it went down to 1500 (£11). It's the place where they have the "grills" inserted into the tables, so you cook your own meal (meat and chicken that is, other food is "ready"). Great desserts they have too, aisu kuriimu and delicious cakes and other sfuff.

They must hate hungry gaijin. We probably make their business unprofitable :D

I'd love to visit a Yakiniku restaurant, there's not many here in England as it's mostly just Teppanyaki and Sushi/Noodle Bars, but you can find Chinese restaurants that offer the chinese versions of Yakiniku and Nabe, dunno what you call them as I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Chinese restaurants. Can't say I've been to many Japanese joints either but you'd have to be pretty forgetful to be a Japanese film/TV/anime fan and not learn a shitload about Japanese cuisine over the years! :D

I'm not really familiar with japanese cuisine yet, and I've never been a fan of sushi (I usually find it too expensive for so little food), but last summer in Hong Kong I had a very nice japanese lunch in a japanese restaurant in Tuen Mun(HK), which was basically just a very nice flavoured rice plus (I think) beef, while my girlfriend chowed down on lots of sushi.

Definately going back to that restaurant next time I'm in Hong Kong. I MIGHT go again this summer, but I think I'll stay home, cause my girlfriend's whole family is going, and this time we won't be able to stay at her grandma's house, thus it will be more expensive, and it will be for only 4 weeks, so I'm affraid it will be a bit too crowded and hectic for my liking.

So I think I'll just stay home this summer. I do miss Hong Kong ALOT though, as always.
