We've only held one World Cup. I should've made clear that the winners will be entered into the Bullets hall of fame. My bad. Next addition will be Paul Verhoeven's win.

I actually meant for Brad's comment ;)

Am I the only one who can't see that image, by the way?

Oh is that was this is for. I'd have got it if there was an image but it just says the word "image".

edit: I see it points to this now: http://impawards.com/1982/posters/thing.jpg. My guess, that website doesn't like leeches ;). You'll need to re-upload the picture Mark.

I remember when you used to be able to host images on Bullets. That was very handy. I'll fix the image guys. I didn't realise no one else could see it.

Presumably that would end in a final between ITMFL and Chungking Express.

I have no objections, but I've seen very few Kubrick's myself.

It may just come to down one or two people voting.

Jackie Chan? Martin Scorsese? Miike?

Jackie Chan is a tough one.

People think a lot of his films are far far worse than they actually are. They have a set idea of what a Jackie film 'should be like' and dismiss the films that don't fall into their vision!

You make a good point :)

Jackie is difficult because many of his best films he didn't direct. Not ruling him out though. Some good suggestions, guys.

I personally think the films Jackie directed himself were the best, in general.

Interest has waned in the World Cups so I'm putting them on hold for a bit.

We have 30 winners so far... maybe after a short break we can get up to 50.

Good idea probably. And 50 sounds like a good goal.
