I havent played Hotel Dusk yet, right now I'm playing Phoenix Wright 3 which is awesome :D I'd heard Hotel Dusk was the same sort of mystery/graphic adventure as PW. Though I also heard Hotel Dusk is less linear and its sometimes hard to work out what to do etc.

Bought a HP w1907v today. A nice 19 inch widescreen monitor by HP. Just installed it, and seems like a very nice screen. I was actually thinking of buying a huge FullHD screen, but I feared that it wouldnt work on my 4 year old PC, so I'll get one of those once I do get a good PC.
I do like the size of this 19 inch btw. In the shop it looks quite smallish, but when working on it in my room, I think it's a nice size.

I do have to adjust it etc to get the best picture possible, but it already looks pretty damn good after having changed the resolution and brought down the brightness and contrast etc. :)

So, I'm pretty happy with it, but it's only been on for 15 minutes, so who knows what happens!?

I also received a new phone. My old one was broken, so my girlfriend bought me a nice Sony Ericsson j100i. Pretty cheap, but seeing as she's pretty much the only person I ever call, and I have no other use for any other functions of a telephone than calling, it's a very nice phone :)

Finally, I bought 2 wireless controllers for the 360. They were bundled deals, so 1 controller plus a game, for 50-60 bucks.
I bought Blue Dragon + a controller in the shop, for 60 euros, and then I ordered PGR4 + a controller, for 48 euro's. So pretty happy with those deals. The PGR4 + controller should be delivered tomorrow or thursday.

Was the 8800GT discounted?
Cause pretty soon the newest cards will be released, right?

I'm thinking of buying HP pc which has the 8800GT installed, but not sure yet.

The price of that card has settled since it was released last November, that's all. The 9600GT 512MB will be released fairly soon, but it'll still be slower than the 8800GT 512MB.

Just get it or the ATI Radeon 3870 now. Those cards will the sweet spot for the price to performance ratio for quite some time to come.

Ordered:-
Auzen X-fi Prelude

Upgrading from my Creative X-fi Xtremegamer (budget card) to an audiophile level one (built from premium quality components) that can potentially playback HD formats (eg DD+ out of the box).

Today I received:

Rear Window
Vertigo (Amazon Marketplace)
My Young Auntie (Dragon Dynasty)
From Beijing With Love (both from Bruce)

Rear Window has a different cover design than the 2005 UK DVD, there are so many bloody re-releases of it its confusing, specs wise it looks to be the same.

I heard the remaster is the original theatrical version which is missing the Dolphin Trainer sequence. The old DVD is the extended version.

Theatrical cut in OAR + new anamorphic transfer > Extended cut + wrong AR + transfer from the stone age.
