Postage aside... $7.99 is an amazing price for a pre-order.

This may be a silly question but is noone waiting for the uk release on the 27th?

That's even cheaper than what I paid... and I got it for a steal.

Now there's no excuse for anyone not to own this set.

Is that a good set to buy? Original audio, genuine subs etc?

Yes, yes, and yes (although the subs are timed to the Cantonese track).

Alfred Hitchcock: The Essentials Collection BD (USA) - $30.99 before shipping
http://www.amazon.com/Alfred-Hitchcock- ... +hitchcock
Includes Vertigo, North By Northwest, Rear Window, The Birds and Psycho
Could be a good space saver? The only one of those I have on BD is NBNW, Rear Window and Vertigo on DVD

Psycho's mono track isn't lossless (if you care about that sort of thing).

A strong collection, although the light spy romp NBNMW is out of place among all the peepers and pervs. ;)

Saw a few brand new sealed horror blu rays in Poundland, The Omen (original) Hills Have Eyes 1 & 2 (remakes), Attack Of The Werewolves, Blood:The Last Vampire...non horror In The Blood,Elfie Hopkins......bit of a sign the way physical media is slowly heading when shops like these can sell brand new BD's for a quid...
