WTF? AFAIK my account is on EBay UK, not EBay US, whenever I try clicking on the link in the email I get "Cannot find server" Help?!
I haven't done anything fradulent?!
Of course. I receive this kind of e-mail every day (and I don't even HAVE an Ebay account ).
Evil spam...
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
Same here, I every few weeks I get an email from "Ebay" telling me that something is wrong and I have to give "them" my credit card number, my social security number, my bank account number and car keys as well...
EDIT: one of the fake ebay emails I've received
"You have received this email because we have strong reason to believe that your eBay account had been recently compromised. In order to prevent any fraudulent activity from occurring we are required to open an investigation into this matter. To speed up this process, you are required to verify your eBay account by following the link below
If your account informations are not updated within the
next 72 hours, then we will assume this account is fraudulent and will be
suspended. We apologize for this inconvenience, but the purpose of this
verification is to ensure that your eBay account has not been fraudulently
We appreciate your support and understanding, as we work together to keep eBay a safe place to trade.
Thank you for your attention on this serious matter. We apologize for
any delay in resolving this situation"
Because companies will never ask you to log in via a direct link, they would ask you to simply visit their website and log in as normal. I get them all the time from "Barclays" and "Barclaycard". I bin them immediately.
ZOMFG !! Do it quickly !!
Or better yet, PM me your credit card number and I'll take care of it for you.

It's on the listing page. You just fill in what BIN value you want.
