Soul Of Chiba Rarescope Eng Version Vs Jap.Version

This release has 2 versions of the film on one disc.the japanese version is about 4 minutes longer.Hung has the german version on the way that has to be better than what we have here :?

On the German disc? I don't think so, but the audio is in english / german (only). The image is also cropped to 1.78:1... However, I have a feeling it may not fare too badly against that Rarescope/BCI "2.35:1" (yeah, right) presentation...

I'll post caps when I get the disc... but dtm hasn't even posted it yet. Arg.

How's the Rarescope audio? This german dvd has pretty good german audio, but the english track is very muted and silent with loud hiss. It's listenable, but only barely. The video is anamorphic and progressive (and not really that awful once you get used to it).

How about the running times? The DE disc runs 89:35.
