Beetlejuice - 20th AE (R1/BD) - September

Warner announced the R1 DVD (and Blu-ray) release of "Beetlejuice: 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition" on 16th September, priced at $19.96 SRP (DVD).

It will be newly remastered and the both DVD and BD editions will be packaged in a lenticular o-sleeve.

Extras - only three Beetlejuice cartoons from the TV series which was produced by Burton and David Geffen.

Beetlejuice Cartoon Episodes:

* A-Ha
* Skeletons In The Closet
* Spooky Boo-tique
Will hopefully pick this up on BD when I go HD :) I had the snapper once but got rid, I hate double sided discs :(

We posted this news in the HD forum a few days ago. Fucking weak extras.

Everyone seems to have missed that you had :D.

I'm just pleased it's getting remastered. The existing DVD is now 7-8 years old and look an utter mess. I owned it up until recently and when I checked it out a few months ago I was shocked how poor it looks.

What? :?
If you're blind you won't be able to see the extras either.

Grim has a point. Check out the existing DVD Romero, you'll soon seen how utterly dreadful it looks.

Yes, it looks rubbish and it's a dual sided disc. Reason enough for a remaster.
