Winkleman gets Film 2010 gig!

Claudia Winkleman is a great TV presenter, witty, clever and a little bit bonkers (that's hot!). But come on, isn't it about time we had someone who knows about film on Film 2010 again? I imagine she knows less about films than Wossy does.

Film 200x was great when Barry Norman presented it but today it's something of a joke. It was a proper film programme, today it's just another "Wossy Show". To be taken seriously, it needs an actual film critique. It's also on so late too, something it wasn't when Norman presented it.

I don't have a problem with her as a presenter... she's just not (AFAIK) a film expert. But it may be that she'll be hosting a show that features film experts. Seems a revamp of the format is likely. She isn't a babe as such... but her quirky humour and panda eyes can be a turn on.

Exactly but I suspect we're in the minority, who see this as a problem. I don't think the Beeb want a film expert any more. Wossy wasn't want either. The bigger problem, is how they mess with the time slot. It's currently on way to late to be credible.

Babe is the wrong word as I like to use that word for women younger than Winkleman but hot definitely and like you say her witty/dry humour + panda eyes are definitely a turn on. Her humour is bonkers, which I love.

That thread was a nonsense because it was filled with attractive women. Being older or unconventionally attractive (like Claudia) doesn't make someone a boiler. A boiler is someone - of any age - that most would normally go "no way" but you think "hmmm... I think I would".
