The American size is fine. Absolutely no justification for the UK ones being thicker.

Agreed. Some people oddly prefer them, thinking they're stronger. No, they're just bigger.

HMV are doing the Twin Peaks Gold Box definitive edition for £20 in-store.

lol it's just a speculative pre-order.go through that website and there's pre-orders for stuff not even out in cinemas yet.

So why give it a price? Isn't that dishonest HMV putting a value they have no intention of upholding? I've never heard of that practice before.

hmv are notorious for cancelling misprices.remember the mass cancellation of the Lethal Weapon box set last year?if this ever gets released hmv will cancel the order.

I actually saw this for £17 IN STORE today.
HMV having actual bargains in store, whodathunkit :o
At the other end of the scale, some of The Simpsons boxsets were £45-50 :lol:

I tend to find HMV in-store and online are much closer nowadays. Their Star Wars box set prices were the same, maybe still are.

HMV always ship remarkably quickly...sometimes within a couple hours of the order.

and yet they never managed to ship Blitz to me,a title that was released today. i cancelled and got it 2p cheaper in asda. :)
