Lots more programs come up when you click All Programs though and apart from that the PC seems to run OK

Problem with Control Panel on laptop?
For some reason, today Control Panel on my computer is saying I only have 17 programs installed under Add or Remove programs (I used to have something like 118 totalling 2GB)
Lots more programs come up when you click All Programs though and apart from that the PC seems to run OK
