Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Project... any good?

It's on sale at the moment for 8 pounds, but is it any good? I'm not a big shooter-fan, although I liked playing Timesplitters FP against my friend and girlfriend...
Or should I go and buy NBA Street V3?

I love Unreal Championship 2! Although it is a very hard game - much harder than UT 2004 on the PC.

I'd pick UC2 up for £8 anyday over some sporting game which will no doubt be "updated" for the new season within 6 months...

I already picked it up a while ago (from play) and played it very briefly. Seems it might be fun, but the controls take a while getting used to, and because I bought it for playing with my girl, and she probably wouldnt be able to spend a few hours getting used to the controls, I havent really touched it ever since...
Hopefully, when my best friend comes over in a few weeks, he might be willing to give it a try ...

The irony being that Unreal Tournament has become a sports game which is released annually.
