I'd fancy seeing Full Contact HKL vs. Mei Ah Remaster?

I can post caps from the old Mei Ah.

I was thinking about getting the dutch release. I heard it has the original soundtrack.

I've got the HKL of Full Contact.

If you post caps HungFist I can match.

EDIT: I just realised you meant non-remastered Mei Ah. Still, if anyone has the remastered...

Is the HKL decent Mark?

I've been considering it now it's only £5.99 at Play (and I've just been paid) but I do prefer the HK 5.1 remixes WHEN they're not over the top, which is a very fine line.

I tend to opt for the HKL though as it's a much safer bet, unless it's a FS HK DVD then it all gets complicated.

I have no problem with the HKL.

The music is different to the Mei Ah though. See comp thread for details.

Everyone should have PowerDVD on Tom's recommended settings:-

Use PowerDVD, Mark. It is known for the best caps-making DVD software.

No they're different programs but I'm sure it's fine. I use Media Player Classic which does the job. I've no need for DVD software on my computer.

I've never watched a DVD on it and can't say I ever will.

If I post caps from the original R1 of Predator 2 can anyone here match with the R1 SE and R2 SE? Popular film, no?

Yeah, I've been mulling over which version of The Wild Bunch to get? The only difference I think is that the R1 has a trailer gallery. But the image is awfully soft for a remaster, so I want to see how the R2 compares. If it's the same (or worse) I'll just get the R1. But I don't want to guess, you know? I thought a lot of people here would have bought it already? But then there's only a handful of us actually doing the comparisons, with most remaining conspicuously absent; which is a shame really, as I think this thread is the best idea Bullets has implimented in ages. The 'Flipper's' caps would be welcome for a frame of reference, though I don't know if they'll be of much use until we find someone with an S.E. I'll leave it up to you, Brad.

At first I wasn't keen as it is time consuming but it's not fair to ask others to create captures (such as Swordsman 2, which really helped me decide) when you aren't prepared to do them yourself.

I prefer if I can to do captures first but there is little point until we have something to compare them again. If someone comes along with an SE I'll do them then.

The widescreen prints are all taken from the 1969 R-rated premiere print, marketed as the Director's Cut, but in reality a few secs shorter than the European cut we previously had. How's that for irony?

But the slightly cut version is actually the director's cut? I'm sure I read it was cut for animal cruelty to a chicken??? Didn't they boil it alive or something.
