Just had a look at my Gone with the Wind 4 discer.

Warner's Ultra resolution transfer (or whatever its called) looks amazing, they do a great job on classic films.

Just recieved Battle Royale: Revenge for 12 quid on Cd-WOW

One thing I was surprised that it is a 3 disk version, not the 2 disk. They have included both versions on there. The tin looks really nice and will go well next to my Battle Royale 1: Tin Edition

Yes. After suffering through Kung Fu Hustle I wouldn't touch another Steven Chow film with a barge pole.

I think both "King of Comedy" and "Shaolin Soccer" were both far better than "Kung Fu Hustle". "KFH" was okayish in my book. In my opinion, "King of Comedy" is Chow's best film ever.

I wouldn't judge all of Stephen Chow's films because of "Kung Fu Hustle". Going by that logic, I wouldn't be watching Jackie Chan-films because of "The Medallion" and "The Tuxedo".

Good point. I'll give Chow films another shot at some point in time then.

I'd start with "King of Comedy" & "Shaolin Soccer" and if you don't like either one of them, I'd forget about Chow.

Shaolin Soccer is rather similiar to KFH. King of Comedy is pretty good, but I recommed my favourite Chow movie: From Beijing With Love. Probably the funniest movie ever made...

Yeah, and only one of the women in sitcoms who's also screwed up. Usually, the woman in a comedy is the 'straigh-man', the person who's 'normal' , and although she fits that bill a BIT, she's also just as screwed up as DOUG, is a whole different way (agressive, shopaholic, bossy, mean, bitchy, insecure about not having enough friends, etc etc.) In short: she's awesome

I like the show, but I feel it doesnt have as much replay-value as Newsradio. Newsradio is one of my favourite shows ever
