I thought that was the place guys but wasn't sure how to know it's been updated without going to it each time. That said I see they have an RSS feed (the Orange logo at the end of the address bar in Firefox and IE) so can use Firefox's Live Bookmarks.

Wholly shit, that's flipping fantastic. New Line were definitely all into region coding but I guess they've changed their stance on it.

Is there a list of New Line BDs? I know of:

Hairspray - Region A
Rush Hour 3 - Region A
Shoot 'Em Up - Region Free
Pan's Labyrinth - Region Free

I've gone back and fourth between the BD and HD-DVD for weeks. One minute I was going to get the BD as it's the BD, then the HD-DVD as a Region Locked Disc is just asking for trouble, then I went back to the BD after hearing the HD-DVD doesn't work in the Samsung Combo.

Now the BD is Region Free after all there is nothing to stop me getting that one

it's got more extras but i can't see there being much difference in the transfer. i actually bought the Basic Instinct off ebay a while back only to get stiffed by the seller.

The BD is only £12.99 on MovieTyme though. I've not looked properly too.

Yep. The point of a customs charge is because you've not paid tax on the "product".

There are some cool titles. It's a pity the best ones are $19.49. None of the $14.99 hugely interest me (Casino and mostly Curse of the Golden Flower).

It was £20.70 for me. I put it back to USD as my bank charges a decent exchange rate, better than Amazon. If you do this it makes two £9.82 each.

shipping cost comes into play when the order is over £18,they then tax you on the amount including shipping.as the discs are well under £18 value,not a problem.

It's decent but no Goodfellas, or American Gangster.

I love Depp, I love Pacino, and I love gangster/mafia/crime movies, but I never cared all that much for Donnie Brosco. It's a good movie, but a bit predictable and I keep feeling it could and should have been much better. Also, cinematography and soundtrack etc: very average. Costumes and settings are good though, but still... it could have used a better director.

The way Amazon price their labels I wouldn't assume anything in regards to what's taxable. I was under the impression that postage wasn't taxable but have alternately heard it is... so you takes your chances. Those sale prices aren't as good as the BOGOFs so I wouldn't rush out and buy anything.

i've bought shitloads of stuff from amazon over the years,believe me customs only take shipping into count when the value of the goods is over the limit.

no,but a tenner each is isn't bad and definitely no customs and no possible hassle of arsing round getting your money back if you get hit in the BOGOF...

Good point about the customs.

So if the items total £17.99 and the postage is £5.99 you still wouldn't get charged... but if the items were £18.99 you would get charged 17.5% tax on that AND the postage combined?

Just so I'm sure...
