Hey,
How does Licence To Kill BD compare to the UK UE? Does it have the original stereo track (I guess its uncut too).

LTK has been out in the US for almost a year. Never made it to the UK before Fox pulled the plug on Bond BDs. No idea when we'll see the rest.

Really? I guess given how many there are and the cost of BDs, it was too much for most to handle. Shame, it looks like they released a good 2/3 of them. Is this a complete list of Bond Blu-rays? -

Connery:
Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
Never Say Never Again - WTF! They released this!

Moore:
Live And Let Die
The Man with the Golden Gun
Moonraker
For Your Eyes Only

Dalton:
Licence To Kill

Brosnan:
The World is not Enough
Die Another Day

Craig:
Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace

So to confirm, Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies never came?

Pity, TND is my favourite Brosnan Bond. I'd have bought that one. The only one from that list I'd get is "Licence to Kill". From Russia With Love and Goldfinger are good but I'm happy with the DVD for those.

Clearly the Bond BD sales suffered from the relentless dvd re-releases.Fans just tired of rebuying.they should've done an exchange programme of sorts, say £5 and your DVD for the BD.

Some companies offer rebates on select titles.

But yes Bond has been reissued so many times. The extras were bascially the same so unless you wanted the HD upgrade alone there was little insentive to rebuy at cost.

Now if they'd located the original uncut versions... they would have sold like hot cakes.

Anybody any idea where I can get The Hitcher on BD? I'm sure I've seen it out there somewhere but places only seem to stock the DVD or HD DVD now. Has it gone out of print?

By the way, I'm talking about the remake with Sean Bean and Sophia Bush, not the original...

Yeah but I'm not paying £15 for it. I figured it would be in the £5.99 bargain sections by now. Has it not had a UK release?

Maybe the uncut versions are lost or just in the MGM vaults.

Hopefully it's been remastered. The DVDs are ropey. I got the UK DVD cheap, so it's fine for me though. It's one of my fave Arnie films.

Not on DVD? WTF!

What put me off, is there is so many and at £15 a pop. That's some wedge!

True, but then studio greed is legendary. They could've done BOGOF offers (they used to do that with DVDs) or the aforementioned rebates. Also these mixed box sets are idiotic. So you have to buy a film you don't like to get one or two you do. Fox brought this on themselves - but it's the public who suffer the consequences as always.

I definitely agree. BOGOFs and none of those idiotic box sets, "WOULD" have meant much better sales. James Bond films aren't even really connected with each other, so work perfectly well without other films in the series.

It's a shame they didn't at least get the rest released, before stop making them though.

It's listed as being on the UK HD DVD so not sure why its not on the BD.

Warners BDs are usually just ports so it should be on there.

It is on the US release (which I have).

Enter the Dragon UK BD is a USA port. It has FBI warnings and reviews even say it's a port.
