Actually, if he was depressed, playing an intensely dark, psychotic character for hours a day, weeks on end, could have had a negative affect, and altered his personality. Mental illness is very dangeous ground unchecked.Ivan Drago wrote:I doubt playing the Joker would have an impact on his mental health just casue the Joker is a loon. I can understand him getting stressed casue it's a demanding role

Yeah, that's why I hate live-action superhero movies. In the comics, a costume looks 'good', but when they try to do it for live-action, it usually just looks crap. Spidey's costume was OK, but pretty much all the other superhero costumes really sucked when in movies or on TV.
Iron Man obviously doesnt have this problem, nor does the Hulk, but with Batman they've never got it right (and I doubt it's possible), and The Xmen and Superman also looked 'uncomfortable'...

Batman's costume in all the Batman films?!
Even the ones where it has nipples?! LOL
The costume in Batman Begins actually made sense, because they explained it all - what bits were what, where it came from, what it did, etc.
It looks pretty good in that poster up above too...

I dont know, but with Batman, the mask always looks like crap, and overall it always looks like the whole thing is mighty uncomfortable to go around jumping roofs, swinging on batlines, and fighting bad guys.
Also, I dont really like the whole 'let's make some fake muscles' stuff, on the suit...
It always looks really 'leathery', and although I've never worn leather pants, and I never will, but I'm pretty sure it isnt very comfortable.
Mark, you wear leather outfits with masks a lot. What's it like!?

Of course it is. Since when were superhero costumes supposed to be practical?and overall it always looks like the whole thing is mighty uncomfortable to go around jumping roofs, swinging on batlines, and fighting bad guys.
It's padding. I imagine Christian Bale buffed up too. I thought the suits were made out or rubber not leather. I think you're being way too fussy, they're just suits. Also, I dont really like the whole 'let's make some fake muscles' stuff, on the suit...
I presume you mean pants in the American sense of the word? We've never seen Batman in leather underpants

You criticise the costumes in the X-men films?! They actually made far more sense having generic uniforms, then the stupid shit that they wear in the comics. In the first film they even took a jab it, "What, you'd prefer yellow spandex?"
Let's take a look at an example:-
Lady Mastermind. How fucking impractical would this costume be in battle? Her boobs would keep popping out.
