Shipping alone ($6.48 ) is more than the actual DVD, but I've heard the cheapo surface mail takes forever from them.
Oh yes, it does. I ordered some DVDs from them using surface on Dec 22nd and they still haven't arrived.

24 Seasons 1, 2, 3 & 5 from Play for £17.99 each, for their updated extra features & new packaging. :)

Updated extra features? What is different IM? :)

My original versions don't have the prequels on them & I also don't like the old packaging. I much prefer the new, slimmer box sets which take up less shelf space. :)

Chan-day:
Rumble in the Bronx (R2J) (2 Disc)
Mr. Nice Guy (R2J) (2 Disc)
Jackie Chan Action Pack (R1) (3 Disc)
Hand of Death (Fox)

+ a bit of Shinichi
Shogun Collection (R1) (4 Disc) (Shogun's Samurai, Shogun's Ninja, Swords of Vengeance, Shogun's Shadow)
I already own R1's for Ninja and Shadow, and the R2 UK for Samurai, I only needed Swords of Vengeance but the box set was actually cheaper than the OOP Swords of Vengeance stand alone release

What is on the R2 JP disc of Rumble, Hung? Is it like Who Am I, with the Asian cut on one and US one the other?

Should be. I think someone (chen lung maybe) once said that the asian cut is cropped to 1:85 but at this point I don't care anymore. The US disc is cut and dubbed and probably re-scored, the HK disc is cut and in cantonese but it's a 5.1 mix so who knows what it is. I don't even know what the original audio track is. The R2J comes with both the US cut with canto sound and the asian cut with something and something. I quaranteed to be the best edition, even though possibly not better than other releases. But I'm tired trying to figure out which is the least terrible version... with the R2J 2 Disc I can't lose anything but money. It's a deal.

Isn't Rumble and Mr Nice Guy supposed to be in English though?

As far as I know, Rumble was first a longer cut, in cantonese I believe... then it was cut and dubbed for release in the west.
No idea on Mr. Nice Guy, but it was a HK production directed by Sammo I believe, so could very well be canto as well, which would later be dubbed. It's possible that during the making of both, or one of those, they maybe already knew there would be a western release as well... so they may have shot some scenes both in english AND canto, but TBH that's just guesswork on my part.

That's what I heard. IIRC Rumble and Mr Nice Guy (First Strike and Who Am I as well) were designed for international audiences. TBH it'd prolly sound really odd to hear all the white people in a New York/Sydney setting speaking in Cantonese.

One Foot In The Grave S2 (cd-wow rental) :)

I don't know but I'd assume that both films were partly english, partly cantonese. When I'm referring to canto track I mean eng/canto mix while the US disc comes with full english dub only (probably a new dub, even those scenes that were originally in english). The R2J's list both english and cantonese tracks for the international cuts and cantones tracks for the asian cuts. so unless those are full eng and full canto dubs I can't lose.

But this such a mess that I don't really care anymore. I take what I get with the R2Js and then buy decents edition later when they gets released in the year 2037 (I'll be 50 then  )
