CD-Wow seem to have sent me a rattler. I will watch the film at work today to see if any of the scratches have done the disc any harm...
I wish HKL would start using proper Amaray cases again - those things clip the DVD into place much better than the flimsy cases HKL have been using since the move to Contender...

Yeah, The Iceman Cometh played perfectly. There are a few light surface scratches on the disc, but since it plays back perfectly I am not going to send the disc back.
Today I received:
- Serious Sam
- XBox Controller S
Both from Play...

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

DragonBlade was released theatrically in Hong-Kong on January 6th 2005.
Since it didn't make any money, I doubt that it will be released anywhere else.
The DVD has been released in april. It's the DVD cover that made me want to download the film to see if it was any good.

Here's a poll:
Who here has seen DragonBlade ?
I'm not expecting any answer.
BTW:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0327660/
Five positive reviews and one negative.

Today I recieved:
Castle In The Sky R2 from CD-WOW rentals.
One thing that becomes immediately annoying is that the subtitles in English are not only dubtitles, but they are even timed for the English dub.
So I was listening on the Japanese track but would still be reading subtitles when there was no Japanese dialogue being spoken, and nothing was coming from a characters mouth.

Today I recieved:
Donnie Darko DC R2
Bang Rajan PA R2
from CD-WOW.
For some reason on both packages it says "Intrinsic value £3.49" but I'm sure I paid £5.99???
If I get charged £5.99 can I have £5 back? £3.49 each is £2.50 each less than what I actually paid. Of course, if I DO get charged £3.49 for each title, I'm not complaining

No, you're charged the price you agreed to. I'm not sure what "intrinsic" means, but I know that whenever I order a DVD / CD from CD-Wow, the "intrinsic value" is always £1.50 less than what I paid for it...
Anyway, yesterday I received:
- Burnout 3: Takedown
- The Thing
Both for my XBox and both at bargain prices from E-Bay!
