That's hardly an excuse to make rubbish films. Clever humour can be just as popular. There's something about Mary is still very funny and has much better comedy in it.
saltysam wrote:Punch Drunk Love is boring, give me Wedding Singer & Happy Gilmore any day.How many awful Sandler films have you seen or is this another "9 out of 10 people" said so guess?
The Wedding Singer was okay I guess. The Waterboy, Bulletproof, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds all rubbish.

I make that 7 and only 1 is any good (PDL is excellent btw). I'm now waiting for you to say "for someone who says they don't like Adam Sandler, you've seen a lot of his films". But if I'd only seen 2-3, you'd reply with "you've only seen 2-3, you don't know what you're talking about". So I've saved you the trouble.
bradavon wrote:Yeah instead you get dickhead Bitish people using pointless words like "Simples" using a buzzword from a fucking toy Merkat.
What a stupid comparison. One is a historical American word that's pointlessly stuck and another is 2 minute slang that's already falling out of favour.

I never found Diaz attractive. Not even in The Mask. She's just too skinny and grinny.

Too grinny? :D. How can smiling be a bad thing?

@ Salty: The only Sandler film I've sat down to watch is PDL, the rest have been on whilst I'm on the computer etc... Quite different. My 9 out 10 comment was "mostly" to do with films I see in the cinema.

What! I don't even know how to respond to this.

Which part of it is bullshit exactly in your opinion? None of it in my opinion. You don't know me at all, if you think I deliberately talk bullshit. Don't confuse me with Romero.

It's all good. Actual L O L comedy (subjective I guess!).

Written by the woman who writes with the South Park guys - and I'm not really a fun of SP.

It got a lot of people outraged in the states like it was somehow indecent! UK DVD is the 'unrated' cut and can be bought for a couple quid ;)

What makes you think Furious Five is on there?looks like a repackaged release of the old BD & Single disc dvd.pointless re-issue designed to cash in on the sequel..it's been out ages, can be got cheap anywhere.

Just that it's called Pandamonium Double Pack, as it was when Furious Five/KFP were released on DVD together but I could be wrong :)
Seems pointless otherwise though, I agree.

Talk about a lot of effort just to try and proof a pointless Internet argument. I'd have just listed the top 3-4. I only listed 6 films. Why would I stop there?
saltysam wrote:you trying to say you watched a Sandler film, hated it then carried on watching his other movies
Why are you even bothering to argue with me? You're the one who asked how many I'd seen. I answered you. You've got a stock answer for everything. I say I've seen 1 film, you'd reply with "you've only seen 1 Sandler film and think you've got an opinion". I say I've seen a few and you (ironically as I said you would) reply with "you trying to say you watched a Sandler film, hated it then carried on watching his other movies".

No I'm not saying that at all. Try fucking reading what I said. I've seen most of them whilst doing other things. Mr Deeds I saw on a flight one time. At least one I saw with friends. I've still seen them, even if I didn't sit down to actively watch them. And yes they're all rubbish.

Hey fella's! Talk nicely!

The last Sandler I was forced to watch (at a mates) was Click. I just bit my tongue and hoped it'd no suck - it did.

The 'oh he just ate a turd' style humour just doesn't work for me, the mandatory moralistic twist just bites even more!!

Cameron Diaz was fairly hot in The Mask but it was all downhill from there. Has she made a good movie in the last 16 years? Her looks rapidly abonded her.

Only Adam Sandler movie I thought was funny was Happy Gilmore (and I didn't hate The Wedding Singer, probably because of the appealing Drew Barrymore).

So instead of acknowledging you maybe wrong and I have actually seen the films I mention, you resort to childish remarks? Right okay.

You don't know my level of intelligence (or lack of it), just like I don't know how good a parent you are to your kids. I could make an assumption you've taught them it's acceptable to be childish and continue pointless arguments, calling people liars and stupid who you don't know from Adam, just to give your ego a boost but I don't know. So that's naturally an assumption.

And before you get on your high horse again. If I had kids I guarantee you'd have brought them up by now and used them as some kind of bait. You've made gross assumptions and belittled every other aspect of my character, I choose to let out.

Btw i'm not an Adam Sandler fan in general (though i have Happy Gilmore) i've seen maybe 5 of his films and they are passable but instantly forgettable fare.except for Punch Drunk Love which was boring.
