Overrated, decent but overrated.

It's one of those films that on it's own merits it's very good but my word it's not as good as many people think. You'd think it was the second coming the amount some people go on about it.

Not overrated as far as I'm concerned.

I enjoyed it but couldn't believe what the fuss was about.

Cheesey as hall and just a bit of fun. 3.5/5 maximum.

I wouldn't say it was cheesy but otherwise agreed.

Yeah, but Luckystars thinks Rob-B-Hood is great.

i didn't get 2001 Brad,not really my cup of tea HMV can be hit and miss with their delivery times,Wanted BD recently took 8 days from despatch and Dark Knight only 3.factor in the new year and i'm sure it'll be with you soon

I'm unsure £12.50 each is a particularly great deal, probably a good though.

Looking elsewhere, Fearless is £13.99 and There will be Blood is £16.89. Making it a £5.88 saving or £2.94 per title. Tempting actually.

Use quidco and they are cheaper than £12.50 each, work out £11.60

Tempting but I don't think it's quite a keeper. My 2001 still hasn't arrived. They should be sending me a replacement . My Fearless and There will be Blood arrived today though.

i liked Clockwork Orange Shining is the uk shorter version,many prefer it,i prefer the usa one.FMJ hasn't been in the sale yet.maybe next week.

I've seen both cuts and can never spot the difference , which is weird as it's loader longer.

I went for the US cut as there's nothing about it that bores me or feels too long. I believe that most of the stuff cut out for the UK cut is scenes which take place outside of the hotel, giving it a more claustrophobic feel, but I've never bothered to check out that cut as I am happy with the original one

Kubrick cut the film himself after its premiere in the US.

I think the shorter version is his director's cut

But correct me if I'm wrong...

They're both director's cuts, he made it shorter because of the negative reception it was getting. Since I disagree with the initial negative reception, I opt for his original version, not the diluted trying-to-please one.
