Has anyone found it cheaper? That's a much better price than the overpriced USA 3 Disc SE. I'm seriously tempted not to wait and just pick this up. £18 is an excellent price and FINALLY it's in the proper aspect ratio.

it's a popular release,a few places are already out of stock.if you were planning on getting it on release you should've pre-ordered using the 20% sainsburys code i posted,you'd have got it for £14.20.it'll be a tenner in a couple of months.

I wasn't planning to until a few days ago . A mate's never seen it (I know!) and we missed it during it's recent cinema re-run. The BD has to be next best thing. I've only seen the Redux cut too and everyone seems to prefer the theatrical cut.

Oh well. We're only talking £3.79 difference. I'll just drink one less pint next time I go out . It's not as if I buy many films nowadays.

It's not that logical but as the USA version is about £30, I don't mind paying £17.99 for this so much, whereas Battle Royale at £17.99 seems pricey. I probably should've gone for it when it was on Sainsbury's though.

Thanks Salty. I reckon I'll go for this. I should've gone for it during the Sainsburys voucher so phew it's only about 13p more now. I forgot it was a 3 disc release and they take forever to get near a tenner. Star Trek took significantly longer to be a decent price than other films of it's popularity/age released around it's period.

p.s - The stuff mentioned on the Amazon listing aren't unique to the Amazon listing right?

Normally no rush. I've already answered why above. Besides for me, I buy so few new, the price is less important but agreed it is still a bit pricey.
