You're talking about 2046 right LD? The R4, UK R2 and French R2 (all the same) have much nicer PQ to the Korean and HK DVDs (both the same). All have DTS too.
In the case of the R4 it has lots more extras too, the French R2 has more but no English subs. There is a capture comparison here on Bullets.

LOL that's nice of him. I doubt it will be going anywhere, get it next month. I'm not sure if you should get the UK R2 I reckon it is anamorphic and that review says it is but I can't find out for sure. The R1 definitely is.
