Does the BEST OF have the poppy remixes or the folkier originals?

The poppy remixes I guess but which songs are you talking about? As they all sound how they did on the original albums to me.

Clearly then there is something wrong with your hearing because you couldn't get any different than "Home" and "In Blue". Oh and you're wrong anyway of course it's "The Corrs" sound but each song is definitely different from the last.

I have two DVDs from The Corrs. "Live at Landsdowne Road" and "Live at the Royal Albert Hall - St. Patrick's Day". I hate myself for selling the double disc edition of "All The Way Home: The History of The Corrs". I was really low on cash back then.

I love "Long Night". Nooo, you fools... the song. :D

I'm referring to 'Talk on Corners'. Singles like 'What Can I do?' and 'Dreams' were remixed. I have the original album.

Are you referring to the Blue cover version of Talk on Corners? Which had Runaway included (annoyingly) when you say remixed.

I once owned a version of Talk on Corners that didn't have Dreams included. It was a Birthday present from someone in the music business. I later exchanged it for a version with Dreams, they were otherwise identical.

But tbh I couldn't actually tell you as far as Best Of. goes then as both cuts sounds the same to me.

A while back I picked up Shania Twain's: Come on Over as I heard the USA version was more country. The song order is worse I noticed that but as for being more country not really. 2-3 songs sounded slower and less poppy but it's 90% the same album. The cover art for the USA version sucks too.

No, my version has a green-yellow cover. Runaway isn't on it.

The instrumentation is different. How can you not notice?

I've heard the American version of That Don't Impress me Much - it's better, being more guitar driven, which I like.

Personally I liked the pop remix of Come on Over much more. The Country mixes were to slow.

Do you mean this one? -

Which is the version I have. It's been released with and without Dreams and was later released again as a so called SE -

With Runaway which shouldn't be on it IMO, stupid marketing.

Yeah, that's the one Brad. Mine has Dreams on it. No remixes.

Ah I know what you mean now, the SE contains the remixes but IMO they're subtle. Not needed but subtle.

To try and answer your original question, the rear cover art says:

So Young (K-Klass Remix)
What Can I Do (Tin Tin Out Remix)
All the Love in the World (Remix)

The rest don't say either way leading me to believe some are remixes and some aren't. The version of "Radio" and "Everybody Hurts" are the original Unplugged versions not the AWFUL pop remix of "Radio" featured on "In Blue".

3 Remixes out of 18 total tracks is pretty good. It's a good collection of songs IMO.

Do you normally buy music from artists you don't like?

I don't see why they couldn't put both versions on rather than only the remixes.

Personally I'd like one or the other both would really piss me off having the same song twice on the album. They're not intrusive IMO like some remixes (the B-Side Single type).

Sometimes even a slight change can have a negative effect on a song.

No, they were promo copies meant for reviews. My older sister was a music journalist for a few years.
