The thing DVD Box Office when I used to use them took as long as DVD Soon (technically longer as all the DVDs took weeks) but the big difference was they replied to your e-mails!

It's really not asking to much to expect e-mail replies. I don't know they bother with an e-mail system.

To me a few quid is only a few quid. I won't miss it.
romerojpg wrote:They are SCUM getting back to about emails, so basically dont even bother, they are total Scumlords and treat people like crap and change polocies and crap like that all the time, but hey they are cheap and get Most my dvds to me, so again I dont mind too much.
Wow I thought you'd never say that. If it comes from you it must be true/fact  . True I have lots to watch in the mean time but that doesn't mean I don't want these DVDs. I hate waiting and having orders outstanding.

I've since posted on DVD Swaps so we will see if they reply to my post.

p.s - Motorcycle Diaries also on my order is a new release.
Here at DVDSoon.com, client satisfaction has always been of utmost importance
Welll that's a load of marketing bollocks.

Thanks for the e-mail. I never got a copy of it and I'm a customer too!

UMD looks like an interesting technology making it possible to watch movies on your Sony PSP. I can't see it really working though with portable DVD players.

I can't believe they're going ahead with two HD formats though. DVD-A vs. SACD all over again

This is the DVD Soon etc . . . Bargains thread.

The Last of the Mohicans: DC - DTS (only the R1 DVDs are the DC) for £5.05 -

http://www.dvdsoon.com/show-title-detai ... r_id=10040

Speaking of TLOTM my DVD finally shipped today. Which is great but "The Motorcycle Diaries" that was only released last month is still as "On Order", which makes no sense as I'm sure it can't be hard to get hold if.

I also finally recieved an e-mail (actually the same e-mail again 2 hours later) from DVD Soon clearly copied from some FAQ to say it could take 4-6 weeks to get a title in stock so I'll wait a wee while yet.

The site is only down as its sooo busy as the prices have been slashed so much, I saved about 25 pound by cancelling all my orders and reordering them, thats how low the price are! some are just over 1.50p!!!!!!!! big box sets 5 quid with 7 dvds!!

the whole site latley has been lowering and messing with prices and they cannot get any lower at all. Its amazing, and I wish the site worked better, but its just too damn busy to order everything :( I have managed to get some goods, just keep trying as hard as you can as its worth it.

Another one for Romero.. ;)
How do you change your billing details at DVD Soon?
Since I moved house I want to enter a new billing address. It lets me enter a new "shipping" address but the billing address stayed the same (my old house address). :? There doesnt seem to be an option to change it.

Email them and ask it seems the way :) actual using that little old change shipping address can make a mess of your account, so best to email and ask them to do it for you :)

LOL you don't half like crap films "Bring it on" it awful. "Cardigans, The : Live in London" looks interesting though.

I had a look and tried to "advance search" for all DVDs under 4 bucks but the page did nothing. I clicked "submit" it then went to a white page and stopped loading. Weird.

Did that to me a bunch of times when you use PowerSearch. Keep trying it should work eventually.

Dont bother searcing like that its pointless, just pick a company like warner and look thru all there titles will take you a few minutes to scan all there titles for cheap ones, I went thru all Fox, Warner and Univeral titles took me about 15 minutes to scan about 3000 titles for cheapo ones, problem is I owned most the best deals :( still theres thousands of amazing bargain.

and Bradavon your gonna get wrong on DVDFORUMS for writing in the DVDSOON Bargains thread  it says ONLY post if you have a deal :D

It says it all over the thread and in the title, so you will get wrong for that and may get a black mark  you only commented on a bargain and didnt acctually post a bargain and thats a big no no :)

That's no excuse. If they can't be bothered to pay for a powerful enough server then I can't be bothered to buy from them.

I just tried btw and got the same. I'll try one more time tomorrow. It's not like the title I want I really really want.

There search engine still doesn't work. If I can't find cheap titles then what's the point in the option? I could do what you say Romero but I've already spent enough on DVDs this month and unlike you I have a limit :D . I get to the point where I think just because it's cheap it doesn't mean I need to buy it!

Before you say it the DVD was a sub £5 one so I'm willing to wait for those (if I could bloody order it).

A big thanks for the heads up. I've edited my post so should be ok.

Another dumb DVD Forums rule. I was giving useful info too!
