Nope. It's still in theatres over here AFAIK, not that I can be bothered seeing it since I've now ordered it on DVD.bradavon wrote:Have you seen The Proposition Eva? Tis excellent.
Your loss. It takes 5 minutes tops to get up a Gmail account and a new Cd-wow account to get the £2 code, I did it for each order. I've forgotten all the bullshit Gmail login names that I've created. One was chongautomatic belonging to a Tim Chong though.if I can't be bothered to use the ING code. The idea of multiple accounts would annoy the hell out of me. £2.99 I'd get it but £4.49 it's too much.

Silly man see it in the big screen, it's worth it.EvaUnit02 wrote:Nope. It's still in theatres over here AFAIK, not that I can be bothered seeing it since I've now ordered it on DVD.
It's nothing to do with time I don't want all these oodles of accounts I don't know about active all over the place. It's only £1 more than the £1.50 I can get anyway.EvaUnit02 wrote:Your loss. It takes 5 minutes tops to get up a Gmail account and a new Cd-wow account to get the £2 code

You know what I'm not convinced it is, well not in the usual sense of "cut". Yes of course technically it is but the R1 and others also got the same cut (the R1 is a Sony DVD too).EvaUnit02 wrote:Ordered:-
R2 Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring Again - £2.49 (Its cut by a few minutes but $7.03 vs. whatever for R3K, I'll take the R2).
While the Korean DVD is a longer cut I personally reckon the UK and R1 discs are a shorter cut.
The UK DVD is cut by a few minutes of animal cruelty which doesn't sound nice at all NOT that I'd want it cut per say I went for The Isle R4 after all (except it sounds much more extreme here).
I also hear by a few for what it's worth the cuts have an improvement on the ending of the film.
Get rid of shitty AOL and go with a proper BB provider. Like I said it's nothing to do with time as agreed it take no time at all.romerojpg wrote:Yup it takes me about 60 seconds to create a new Hotmail account, its not hard for a 2 pound voucher! or it would take 60 seconds if I didnt have Dial up
So to confirm the £1 Link is working for EVERY SALE DVD you've bought?

Huh? But the animal cruelty in SSFWAS is one of its key elements. Kinda takes the film's point away.bradavon wrote:The UK DVD is cut by a few minutes of animal cruelty which doesn't sound nice at all NOT that I'd want it cut per say I went for The Isle R4 after all (except it sounds much more extreme here).

From DVDbeaver:-
According to Tartan, the version which they acquired from the sales company was already cut – ie they had prepared a print for the international market.
Fuck you Korean distributor bastards. We can understand fucking Buddhist concepts, hell every liberal douchebag and is dog claim to be Buddhists.

Well there you have it, it could even be director approved. Like I said both the R1 from Columbia Tristar and UK R2 from Tartan both got the same print.
It is cut for animal cruelty but I never said the BBFC did it.
Nice to see it doesn't mention NTSC to PAL too for a change!
For starters you, you said it was cut, then we have the review below, then DVD Compare stating the R1 and UK R2 Cut. Re-read what I said, I never said the BBFC cut it (in fact the opposite).EvaUnit02 wrote:What's your source? It says there were no cuts made on the BBFC site.

No, I meant what was your for source for WHY it was cut. Nowhere does it say that it was for animal cruelty.bradavon wrote:It is cut for animal cruelty but I never said the BBFC did it.
That's cuz it's a native-PAL transfer. Only the dickhead who reviews the anime on DVDtimes doesn't bother to mention whether something is NTSC-PAL or not becuz 90% of made-for-TV anime released in the UK is NTSC-PAL converted. He should mention it regardless.thelostdragon wrote:Nice to see it doesn't mention NTSC to PAL too for a change!

Well yeah exactly my point not NTSC to PAL.EvaUnit02 wrote:That's cuz it's a native-PAL transfer. Well it says scenes of an animal having stones put in it's mouth were cut, that's pretty conclusive to me.

No one else bloody can!
You do do other things bar DVDs right Romero? I've never know anyone else like you. You're obsessedromerojpg wrote:Just spent the last 2 hours spending
You mean Star Trek 2, 3 & 6 as 1, 4 & 5 aren't in the SALE. Oh you're getting the pants ones past 6 too, sure some are good but far from EPIC like most of the Kirk ones.romerojpg wrote:Got most the 2 dvd Star Treks now

I didn't think you wanted the X-Men 3 DVD as you thought the DVD was shit and were waiting for the "proper" version.
You know you can always stop, if it gets to the point where it makes you sad to buy DVDs then that's stupid. Save your money for something else, like a holiday.

The third link only gets you 75p off, you must mean another one. Not that it matters as it doesn't work for me.romerojpg wrote:Insurection was 3.99 I used the THIRD LINK iN the Second post of the voucher thread
They all work for me 90% of the time except for this Sale, then only one 1 DVD. Thanks for the explanation btw.romerojpg wrote:that works everytime forf me now c(no idea whay it didnt work the last 2 weeks!).
