Sorry Grim,

I call out somebody for pointing fingers at others, who am i pointing fingers at? Or if your saying me calling Gil a cunt makes my behavior unacceptable and as such should not criticise other peoples behavior when mine is unacceptable, then surely id have to think calling Gil a cunt was unacceptable, right?

I clearly don’t think referring to Gil as a cunt is unacceptable and I think it’s a far more fitting reference for him than any of the other pseudonym’s he has gone by in the past, further to that as I’ve stated before I don’t think its unacceptable to call somebody as cunt online or face to face as and when the situation requires it.

Only reason im posting in this thread is i was mentioned in the OP. Hope that my opinion is clear, dont care if everybody or anybody disagree's with it but i hope my opinion is clear.

I actually liked Gil, but that was mostly cause I understood what he was saying and wasnt bothered with his 'attitude'. In fact, I doubt me and Gil ever had a disagreement, at least nothing major. He got misunderstood ALOT, and with some people jumping at his throat, and purposely misunderstanding him, or just not caring to understand him, he gota bad name. It often resulted in flame-wars, which he could have handled better, but hey, we've all been there.

I liked Gil. He was very often right with the stuff he said, so whenever someone posts intelligent, true stuff, I wont easily have a problem with such a person, mostly cause I dont strive to be 100% 'correct' myself, but I accept it when someone knows something which I dont. I can live with the fact that I'm ignorant on some issues, and dont feel a need to pretend I know everything.

That said, I can be a stubborn biatch when I DO know, or think I know, something

And Brad and Mark also both have a tendency to come across as 'blunt' and 'arrogant', and perhaps some others, so...

I only care when people misread or misunderstand me, and when it almost seems like they do it on purpose. As far as name-calling aimed at me, or whatever, I dont give a shit.

I just think it's not cool to use slurs like "spaz" and "downy" etc.

I have a strong dislike for the use of terms designed to make fun of the handicapped, who in most cases don't have the ability to defend themselves.

Thank you Mark, except I don't like labelling myself as "handicapped" or whatever. Back in the 80's, there was a charity in St. Albans called "The St. Albans Autistic and Spastics Society" or something, its now called "Scope".
Don't forget Ian Dury's famous track "Spasticus Autisticus" (1981 I think).

When you changed my username it chnaged the username to all my previous posts since joining, hence how i figured it out. Your getting even more desperate, cant edit your previous post now.

Sorry Tom but im going nowhere unless you are implying i will be removed by force, as far as the rules go ive broke none of them, i admire and feel sorry for you at the same time for having to step up to support your fellow moderator but this is his mess, his thread, was easily and completley avoidable.

To any action there are consequences, i think the buck stops with the moderating team, if he cant control himself then thats his problem, he creates these futile threads, baits other members and hides behind his moderator status(and now behind you).
