Just to clarify quickly as it's frankly not all that important, I didn't say that at all. I just said it would be more appropriate to discuss Batman the film in the appropriate place.
It certainly didn't need 4 other members chipping in like little school boys.
Anyway like I said it's really not important, moving on . . .

Sadly I bet it is. I saw the Louis Theroux documentary, truly shocking.
It's odd that they can get away with it yet Muslims cannot. They don't even seem to know what they're fighting against. There was one man on the documentary who also hate gay people and they said he was going to hell too.

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...
Dont see why they should change the marketing for Batman 2. The only problem might be that The Joker lives at the end, while the guy playing The Joker is dead. So!? Just replace him with another actor when you decide to bring him back in one of the sequels...

I'd prefer if they left the ending how it's shot and simply give us another villian in the next instalment. It's a bit premature to be thinking about sequels when Part 2 isn't even out yet.
It's not as if Batman is short on villains.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is going to be tricky to now complete though.
Catwoman, The Penguin and The Riddler are bigger. A seriously evil impersonation of The Riddler would be cool. Catwoman has been done to death and The Penguin in Batman Returns was already ace, then so was The Joker in Batman: The Movie.
Well first of all, Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face in The Dark Knight.
Secondly, Christopher Nolan has been quoted as saying he doesn't like the Penguin, so if he makes a third one I can't see him using a character he dislikes, somehow.

The article points out that almost all the marketing so far has been centred around Heath/The Joker, so it was most likely that they intended to continue with The Joker push up until the film's release, but obviously now they're going to have to rethink that.

I understand that, but since all the footage with Heath has already been shot, they should just stick to that marketing plan. The Joker is crucial to that movie. Heath's death has nothing to do with that.
Or do you mean they might not wanna make people think they are abusing his image and unfortunate death, to sell the movie? Affraid people might think they are taking advantage of a dead guy?
