I think my Bourne Ultimatum has arrived.

They've started to use silly sized packages which won't fit through my letterbox so I am having to make special trips to the sorting office to collect it. They would fit if the postie gave them a shove (the DVD itself would fit) but they don't.

As I think it's now arrived I will wait to reply to this, if it's not arrived there's no way I'm going to wait 2 weeks, others over at AV Forums are getting this response too. That's a joke:
Thanks for getting back to us with your address verification.

We are sorry to hear that your order #XXX has not yet arrived.
We definitely would have expected this order to arrive by now.

At this time, we will ask our shipping department to investigate the
location of your package and we will contact you when we receive a reply
from them (about 2 weeks).

In the meantime, please let us know if your order arrives.
Here is their previous e-mail response when I asked for a replacement:
We're sorry to hear that you have not received your order.

Our records are showing that your Wherehouse.com order #XXX was in
fact shipped on 3/5/08. Although you definitely should have received it
by now, it's possible that this delay has been caused by the shipper.
For verification purposes, the address that the order was shipped to is
as follows-

XXX
XXX
XXX

Please let us know if the above address is incorrect and if you still
haven't received your order at that location. We can take the necessary
next steps at that point.

I wish they'd stop using silly sized packages so I have to waste my time going to the sorting office and stop putting labels on the cases, that don't come off easily.

There's no need to be patronising, every time someone posts a bargain. I'll repeat what I said last time:

"You might be able to find some cheaper elsewhere but not all of them. No one said by posting bargains you had to buy from them, obviously you look elsewhere too. Even then these are still bargains, regardless of possibly cheaper prices".

Fox BDs in particular are good value at £9.50 each. Your usual "you can buy it cheaper" elsewhere shite, can really be boring. I don't spend time posting bargains, for other members to belittle them. If you've found better prices, post them too!

Do you check your facts before talking shite?

I've just checked and NOT one of the discs I've posted is cheaper at MovieTyme, even including a £1 voucher. Dickhead!

Where in Romero's last post was he being patronising? That's right, nowhere.
Dickhead!
Stop being dick yourself, Romero last post was innocent. Your rant was uncalled for (and also quite ironic since you used to do the exact same thing all the time on DVDtimes. "Oh, you can get that movie for cheaper than from the reviewer's sponsor over on this site.").

Your point is still bollocks because even using your link ONLY Rundown is £6.99. Well done you've found ONE title from my inconclusive list cheaper at MovieTyme.

Is this the BD link you mean? -

http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/defaul ... =1&sort=5a

Only Scanner Darkly is on it and it costs more than at Wherehouse.com, including vouchers.

Sorry I don't get your point :? . You've found one title cheaper than at Wherehouse.com, when the point of my post wasn't even the handful of examples I gave anyway. The two that interested me at Wherehouse.com: Speed and Edward Scissorhands are much more at MovieTyme.

All arrived in 9 packages over the last 3 days, via sweden. No customs hit either...

Just selected UK as destination then packages arrived addressed to xxx, Ireland , GB.
bradavon wrote:That's a good tip. So you choose the UK but put Ireland in the normal text?

pity secondspins selection of BDis pretty meagre. managed to get Superman:the Movie for about £6 using Romero's code along with 28 days later for just under £9.(yes Eva i know it's supposed to be not much improvement over the dvd but for £9 it's worth it for a film i really like  )

It is a pity. Wherehouse also list titles they've not got in stock, whereas Secondspin don't.

I rarely find anything I want at Secondspin, for this very reason.

They're not customs safe, the usual rules apply. I'd order in bulk but up to about £17.50.

Yup its free postage so you can order them all seperate if your in the mood :D but spending £18 is hard as you can get so much for that cash, well as long as you dont buy stupid priced things that are far cheaper elsewhere (which some items are).
