There's a separate affiliate only link but I guess DVD Times think they're doing us a favour so now only advertise the 50p one.

It's their loss. Like I said if they would up it to £1 I bet lots more people would start using it.

It's no bigge Mark just re-order using the £1 link in the e-tailors thread or if you prefer a £1 voucher. I prefer the link type as it doesn't show up on order.

It's a pity as I don't have a clue where the £1 link affiliates to.

I'm still kinda pissed at CD-Wow for cancelling my order. It was an uncalled for reaction. I reluctantly accepted the cancellations when we were all trying our luck with double discounts a few months back but this wasn't an intentional act on my part so I'm cheesed at CD-Wow's poor customer attitude. Maybe DVD Times should insist on a £1 affiliate link if they want customer support and tell CD-Wow that a pathetic 50p isn't good enough.

How are CD-Wow supposed to know whether you did it on purpose or not? They'll have an automated system in place - if you order using 2 voucher codes, it will get cancelled and an automatic e-mail will be sent out.

I'm pretty sure they won't spend all their time looking through transactions & thinking "Hmm, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt" or "No he's doing it on purpose".

What's wrong with £1 off anyway? I have bought that many DVDs from CD-Wow that I've saved probably over £100 which in effect gets me free DVDs from themselves.

Exactly IronMonkey. I was about to post the same.

Pop them an e-mail Mark explaining this. At the end of the day it's not a big deal, re-order using the £1 voucher link or £1 voucher code and it will go through.

I'm not sure if CD WOW are keen to up the voucher past 50p. All their silly voucher code cards you get through the post are 50p.

I also suspect DVD Times didn't bother asking and for "most" who don't know better they're happy with 50p. I'd only move to DVD Times £1 voucher because it's DVD Times and I source most of my DVD news from them but really I wouldn't be saving anything.

I'm just saying that I didn't know I was using two codes. As far as I was concerned I was using an affiliate link and that's it.

Yeah, you're right. But that's what happens when you have machines instead of real people do your work.

They should be. I wouldn't accept an affiliate link for such a poor amount knowing it was "cheating "customers out of a better discount.

Yeah, I use DVD Times all the time. but as you say, helping them costs us 50p a time. I can't imagine why DVD Times would be happy with 50p. I'd imagine most users are aware of better vouchers. Maybe they're afraid to ask? They need to show some balls!!

Yep and if they do they'll probably get a black mark which eventually leads to a ban.

The DVD Times + Forums isn't run like most other forums + websites.

Number 2 or 4 is currently the best with number 5 being the best for games.

I've just used the DVD one (27/12/2005) to buy 'Alien Quadrilogy' for £22.43. It was originally £22.64 I used the above voucher to get 'Punch Drunk Love' (to bump the price up to over £25) and it also dropped the price by 19 pence too.

Great doing this also effectively made 'Punch Drunk Love' FREE (£4.97 normally).

He's taking an age to release his next film (it's not even listed on IMDB). He's not worked for 3 years!

I thought 'Boogie Nights' was pretty good (not a keeper) but then came 'Magnolia' followed 'Punch-Drunk Love' both are fantastic films.

Those Tescos vouchers have now expired.

I figured it was about time we revived this thread properly; I've not updated it since July 2005. I've also decided to open the thread up to non-DVD, CD and Games vouchers but of course the main vouchers will still be DVD & CD related.

So here goes:

CD WOW

1. Moved the £1 voucher x3 to the Misc. section
2. Removed the 60p and 50p vouchers from the Misc. section
3. 20% CD WOW Voucher added, don't get your hopes up guys it has some strict rules.
Think of it as the CD WOW version of the I-Fidelity card (£48 a year for 20% off a month).
4. 5% CD WOW Voucher IF you're a Club Toyota member:
