I'm with Romero, it's still a (basically) faulty disc. There should be a hidden English subtitle stream which only appears when it's in Non-English or something like that. I'd likely watch it without subs then when they speak in Non-English have to turn them on, rewind and watch it again.

Kill Bill is annoying but I just left them on. The same went for the Korean Dances with Wolves DVD set.

Problem I find with Blu Ray is to change subs it takes a while on some discs as you have to go thru endless menu systems! at least with dvd it was a button press away, sadly Blu Ray over complicates subs and soundtrack selections on many discs.

You can still change the subs with the remote though.

Surely the PS3 has a Subtitle button? My LG does. It even has a Subtitle On/Off button which just switches the selected subtitle stream on/off, which is handy. So I don't have to use the normal subtitle button that obviously can cycle through a dozen subtitles before you get to Off.

I tend to find BD/HD-DVD menus take longer to load than DVD but otherwise they're no more complicated. Many DVDs have annoying animated menus too.

At least the Kill Bill disc was Japanese... Taken is specifically for the UK market. It's a fuck-up and I'm glad Romero reminded me (although I was iffy about the missing extras anyways).

Went ahead and ordered Die Hard/Die Hard 2 for £9.98 inc. postage.

Good work. Maybe limited stock. I already have Die Hard and it's the only keeper of the four IMO.

You mean this one?

http://www.amazon.com/White-Dwarfs-Two- ... 779&sr=8-1 - There are 2 that are the same it looks like, except one is in a DVD Box type packaging.

I imagine thats a pre order price.

My Dad passes on his thanks, Sam.

He was really wanting Snow White but felt the price was a bit much.

With $10 off he snapped it up.
