The last week in Finland... Then, a new life awaits me in an off-world colony. A chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure!

Things to do this time:
- Try out love hotel rather than smuggle people into your room
- Visit Gunkanjima
- See if I could interview Yoshihiro Nishimura and visit his gore lab
- Find a girlfriend who doesn't break up with me just before fulfilling her promise to wear her old high school uniform

I'm jealous. It will still be some months until I get to write my things to do list.

When we were bowling in Finland with a friend, we always had two rules:
- Rule 1: get more than 200 and the friend buys you a beer
- Rule 2: gutter on first roll and you buy the friend a beer

That's bowling

Are you allowed to drink at football matches now? When I was a kid it was banned I'm sure. Seems crazy given the potential for crowd trouble to let people drink. Let them go to the pubs afterward.

I watched the match on TV: two of the goals were down to horrendous defensive mistakes. First Liverpool's abject failure to clear the ball out of the box (before passing it to Jelavic who scored) and then Everton's Distin's inexplicible midfield pass to an oncoming red shirt. Madness times two.

These days you have the likes of Wetherspoons serving ale at 7-8am in the morning,a fair number of fans are going to be tanked up before even reaching the stadium.

With ridiculous prices like that, it wouldn't take alcohol to make me lose my fucking mind and get very VERY violent.

Kinda pissed off that whenever I'm in Japan, Night Visions has the coolest line up (in Helsinki!!!)
