You wrote me a post in the sports-section? I'll check it out. That's so caring of you. I appreciate it.
EDIT: You sneaky bastard: I can't find any messages for me by you in the sports-section!!!

(btw: we need new and better smilies to more accurately portray my rage at Grim!)
But even for a multi-region player, it just seems very expensive. Aren't there any free tools to make BR-players in laptops/PC's region-free!? Cause maybe you'd be better off just buying a BR-player for your PC/laptop and 'fixing' that.
If not, I'd personally put off buying a MR-player for a while, till the prices are a bit more normal. For that kinda money you can buy yourself a PS3 and a bunch of games.

Ah, you're talking about the Arsenal-Man Utd game!? Yeah I'm interested (couldn't watch it, sadly), but the way you said I should check out some post in the sports-section, I thought it was something specific asked/aimed at me or something

Just received my PC back, which had broken down AGAIN and had to be repaired again. Unbelievable. Will probably be busy the whole afternoon with re-installing shit again...
edit: You've got to be kidding me(!)
Just opened up the box with my pc, and hooked it all up again: only the fan is working: power button doesn't light up, nothing happens on-screen, etc etc.
What the hell, man!? Don't they even check if it actually works again before they ship it back!?!?
Just called them again and they'll pick it up AGAIN tomorrow morning. What a bunch of morons.

Are you now planning to hold off getting a Freeview+ or Freesat HD PVR?

I'm not sure, I might end up getting a Freesat HD PVR after all now... (or Freeview+ one day)

Not the transfer, sound etc.. just the film. Most Bond's dont deserve HD for me for some reason, I just cannot even be arsed to buy many of them in standard dvd for £2 never mind HD prices

I'm not a massive Bond fan myself, but Goldfinger looks fucking fantastic on Blu-ray, an excellent title to break your Region-A cherry on.

Goldfinger is one of the best early Bonds IMO, if not ever and a classic
