I just received Batman Begins from CD-Wow. Its strange as the cover is different to the one I see in shops around here. Its got a big black border around the whole front and has R2 & R5 symbols on the back.

I guess its not a UK edition?

Iron Monkey it could be what Romero dreads, a Russian DVD :? How does it look to you though?
The cover on the site looks the same as you described it, and as you say its dual encoded 2/5 so its not like theyre ripping you off is it?

No they're not, and its exactly the same as the UK R2 version, just minus the stupid BBFC logos all over the place so I'm not bothered. :)

The picture and sound quality is fantastic, and its a great film too!

Cool :D Yeah, I would of thought the quality would be the same but Romero often makes me paranoid about DVDs from different regions now ;)

I just bought Pro Evo 5 for 44 euro at a local store, as well as Iceman Cometh (Yuen Biao) for only 9 euro... :D
Never seen Iceman Cometh beforeth, so kinda curious...

Pro Evo takes alot of taking used to, especially if you've played Pro Evo 4 till death, as I did... not sure if I like it yet, but I've already read EVERYWHERE that everyone has that feeling when they just start out with 5, and it just takes some time getting used to...

hmmm... not sure... hope so though...

Very dissapointed many of the faces still look like utter shite btw.

Frank Miller Comics:
Batman: Return of the Dark Knight
Sin City - 1st Book

After having read Miller's 'Batman: Year One' I believe that he wrote the best Batman-stories. I was curious how his other 'Batman' comics are and hence got the one he made after 'Year One'.

Return of the Dark Knight, as well as year one, are both ace! (although while the artwork is 'good' (it has a unique style), it could have been much better...)

I like the artwork of 'Year One' very much. Awesome drawing style in my opinion.

What I liked even more about 'Year One' is that we see more from the POV of Gordon. Miller is an awesome storyteller. Short, but sharp and direct sentences.

Today:
Ong-Bak - UMD

Hey Yi-Long,

I have read the first 60 pages of 'Return of the Dark Knight' and the artwork isn't as good as it was in 'Year One'. The story is great so far.

I absolutely love the artwork of 'Year One' and understand why you kinda disliked the drawing style of 'ROTDK'.

Thats an excellent 2 parter episode. Loved that, as well as the Sins of the Father which introduces Carnage :D. Tell me what it like on Region 2 Grim? I have it on R1 which includes the original 60 cartoon.
