I'm a big fan of Looney Tunes... like most people I guess. It's such a shame cartoons like those don't get made anymore. The closest I've seen was the brilliant short before Wall-E (Presto!), with the magician and the rabbit.
Haven't watched any of the DVD's yet though. I want to find a way to put them all on a mediaplayer, so I can just press 'random' when I want to watch it.

What's that? Is that like a game copier?
I heard they're illegal in the UK now.

Yeah, it's a little cartridge that goes into your DS, and allows you to play downloaded games.
My girlfriend has it for her DS. She barely plays on it though. Only reason she even bought the DS was because it had the R4 card (we bought it in Hong Kong, along with a modded PSP).
I'm sure you can still order it online from non-UK e-tailers for 10-20 bucks orso... and it's well worth the money.
Why did you order Jake Hunter btw, and not a good game like Phoenix Wright or something!?

Is the second one better!?
I've only played 1,5 chapter of one of the Phoenix Wright games, on my girl's DS. Usually it's over at her place, so I haven't been able to play on it alot.
I was thinking about letting her pick me up a DSiXL in Hong Kong (she's there now), but I figured I might as well wait for the new DS to come out next year, which should be backwards compatible, and will probably also get it's own kinda R4 card...
Those yellow DSiXL's look pretty sweet though, so I might still ask her to buy me one...
Right now though, I'm still busy with my PSP. As I said, it's modded, but it didn't play the latest games. I updated the firmware, but now the savegames were corrupt, so I need to go back and fix that... which seems like a huge hassle...

Why do you guys think it's all right not to pay for games?

Only when they first come out, the prices of games come down really fast nowadays. I mainly download rare music that I can't buy, or just to listen to an album before I get the CD.

I might wait for the new 3DS or whatever its called. The 2nd JH game is supposed to better than the first one.

My son spends stupid amounts of cash on PS3 and 360 games. So what if he gets a few freebies for the DS,a machine he very rarely uses and whose game prices are a disgrace.

I pay for ALL my home-console games, and I have bought easily over 50 of those in the last 2 years orso, plus there's games on XBLA that I've bought.
I don't buy games for the PSP, cause I pretty much only play on it when I'm in the train, maybe once or twice a month. And my girlfriend hardly plays on her DS. So the only reason we even got those handhelds was because it had the 'option' to play these games 'for free', so it's just a toy to pass the time.
I also don't buy PC-games, but that's mostly because I'm not a PC-gamer (except for Sim City 4), so the few games I download for that system are mostly games that I want to quickly check out, before I buy them on the 360 or PS3. Like Street Fighter 4, FallOut 3, Mirror's Edge, etc etc.

If you can buy Avatar on BD/DVD for under £20 then there is absolutely no justification for any game to ever cost more than that. Games companies charge exorbitant prices for relatively little outlay in comparison to film studios, so I have no sympathy for them when it comes to piracy. Saying that I have never personally bought a pirated game in my life as I've never really seen the point in owning masses of games that you'll probably never properly play through.

It's because they sell the consoles at a loss and recoup the money through the games and accessories.

Nintendo doesn't sell their consoles at a loss, and yet their software is pretty much the most expensive of them all, especially titles like Mario galaxy which dont seem to drop in price.
Also, what do 3rd company developers care about the cost of a console!?
