Is that some sort of Grim joke or what?
Nope. Never heard of it.
Just watched the clip and seems like it's just some horror flick or something? Not really for me...

Man, it's one of the most famous and best horror movies ever made. Usually described as a living painting... or the most visually accomplished horror movie of all time!
That youtube clip is nowhere near the best scene in the film. The visuals, the atmosphere, the music in the film... some of the best stuff I have ever come across.

They'll probably use the same faulty master though.

Not necessarily. The French release would be by Wild Side, right? That's a company that might very well do their own transfer... I have a gut feeling the will.
The Japanese disc, well that could be anything. I don't even know who's releasing it.

French discs often have forced French subtitles as well, so I'm not holding my breath.

I've just pre-ordered the Amer BD, which is a 2009 French film in the style of '70s giallo, meant to be good.

Myeah.... that scene doesn't do much for me either, tbh....
(sorry...)
I guess I'm really just not into horrors. I have never cared about them, and I doubt I'll ever will. I can never really get into them, cause I usually just think it's stupid, and even if it's done well (acting, cinematography, etc), I pretty much never care about the victims either...

I already have the older Love & Pop release but one can never own too many editions of this film.

Revenge of the Zebra Mini Skirt Police? The girls don't seem hot at all, so, no. But I'm hoping the film will be good.

Eden of the East UK Blu-ray, will be cool to get back into this because I tired of watching it on my laptop when it originally aired so stopped about halfway through the series.

I also only watched about 5-6 episodes of it, but it never really 'hooked' me in, TBH.
What did you pay for the blu-ray?

I was quite enjoying it but I think I was starting to lose track of the plot because of the space of time between each episode airing/being fansubbed. It's quite expensive, I paid £23.39 from HMV, and they dispatched it a couple of hours after I made the order lol

It was OK, but I never really cared about the main characters, so it was hard to really fall in love with the series...
Like I said, I stopped after 5-6 episodes. There are other animes out there that I enjoy better, although Eden of the East is getting a lot of love out there, so maybe I'll give it a second chance some day when the price is more reasonable.

Received DJ Hero 2 plus deck, plus DJ Hero 1.
Also bought Arahan for a niece for only 1 euro, and bought some new aftershave (Amando Noir) and Eau de Toilette (Beckham Signature)...

The picture quality is excellent! Grain is intact, and in a good way, this is a proper HD transfer.
Is it the censored print?

Yep, because that's the one that David Lynch helped remaster a few years ago, I wouldn't worry about it, he's fine with it.
