Re: What Have You Just Received?
Bought a nice new coat 3 weeks orso ago (plus 2 coats for my girlfriend), but yesterday I found a tear in it, so I brought it back today to get it fixed. Kinda a bummer, but glad it happened while I still have a warranty.

Re: What have you just ordered?
Just ordered:
- Girl, Illustrated (anime/manga artbook)
- Naruto 50
- Jim Lee artbook
- Batman HC book by Dutsin Nguyen
Kinda pissed that the Valkyria Chronicles Artbook is postponed till this summer. One of the best looking games (design-wise) this generation. Gorgeous stuff.
Ow yeah, also picked up Geometry Wars 2 for 400 points at XBL Marketplace.

Calvin Klein Obsession FOR MEN!!!!
Cause I'm always obsessing for men.
It was only 20 bucks for a 125 ml bottle, as opposed to the usual 56,50. Local valentines offer.

Yes, instead you could tell your boss that from tomorrow on you wish to receive no salary, because being paid for work goes against your principles.

YYYYAAarrrrrrrrr Limeys!!!
Grim, come over to the dark side!!! Aaarrrr!!!!
Nah, I'm just saying, if you don't play it regularly, you might as well buy an R4 card or something.
Me and my GF have both the PSP and DS, which we bought in Hong Kong as an impulse-buy and it seemed like a fun toy. The only reason we even considered it because it would be possible to download games for it.
She hardly ever plays games, and I think she hasn't played on her DS in months now, and I DO play games, but hardly on the handheld. Except when I'm on a train or perhaps a plane. Which is maybe once a month.
I can understand buying games for them if you play and enjoy them on almost a daily basis, but to me and my GF, that isn't the case. I DO play on my 360 and/or PS3 every day, so I buy all my games for those machines.
I offered to work for free (graphic design) but the woman who handled my case said other paid workers at a company would feel like I'd be taking one of the 'paid' jobs or something, plus I'm 'too smart' to do crappy jobs, so I don't have to do anything.
Which is actually good, as with the current economic drama and new government, one of those bright lights had the idea that everyone who's doing volunteer-work is obviously not disabled enough, so should just get a real job instead (which would never work for me, cause 1 week I'm doing OK and the next week I'd be shit with my stomach-infections and stuff...)
So in the end, I'm glad I didn't sign up for any volunteer-work. It would actually have worked against me. Not that my current situation is a picknick, but at least I have an income and I don't have to jump through all kinds of hoops for it. Not yet, anyway.

Re: What Have You Just Received?
The thought of having all games on one card sounds appealing in a way (less stuff to carry around), I might go for the 3DS and save for it once bundles start to come out.

Re: What Have You Just Received?
Oh yeah, there's that benefit as well. It's wayyy more relaxed to just have all your games on 1 memory-card. Plus, in certain cases, some games come out here with just a dub (prof Layton is only released here in Holland witha dutch dub(!)), so it helps that you can just download an english version. Plus for the PSP some japanese rpg's only come with an english dub, and online you can find an 'undub' version which does have the original language.grim_tales wrote:The thought of having all games on one card sounds appealing in a way (less stuff to carry around), I might go for the 3DS and save for it once bundles start to come out.

I wish Prof. Layton had the option of the Japanese soundtrack over here. Luke's voice (Dick Van Dyke helium cockney) annoys the hell out of me in Pandora's Box

I think there are 2 english voices for Luke, with the American version being the better one (though I'm not sure)grim_tales wrote:I wish Prof. Layton had the option of the Japanese soundtrack over here. Luke's voice (Dick Van Dyke helium cockney) annoys the hell out of me in Pandora's Box
I wish the same though. I always want the original voices in my movies, anime AND games.
