Everyone I have gave Serenity to has adored it, and none had seen the TV show

so yes you dont NEED to see the show to enjoy the film, but it will make you love the film a lot more knowing the past history and everything that has been before

think of it like seeing a Star Trek film without seeing the series, the film may be great, but you will get sop much more joy out of it if you have seen all the shows

Its bugger all like Buffy I must admit

There are 1 and 2 disc Momentum versions; I think there is anyway. I'm pretty sure the orginal 1 disc (red cover) DVD is also from Momentum too.

£4 off Cd-wow last time I looked for the original release with the John Hughes commentary (which absent from the recent SE, "Bueller, Bueller Edition" - stupid Paramount SE names).
