His last two films (not counting Kodomo zamurai) have been cool, want to see if he can keep it up

Just picked up LOTR Extended boxset (bluray) for 39 euros here in a local store.

Already had the extended movies on DVD, and haven't watched those yet, so in hindsight those might have been a waste of money, but this deal was too good to pass up.

I was a hard core Jackie collector until this movie came out... after this crap, no more...

I sympathise with Keung. I couldn't bear to own the dire Rob-B-Hood either.

I still have the HK DVD, I certainly won't be upgrading to Blu-ray though.

I watched it on TV a while ago, and it was OK. Nothing great and not worth owning, but somehow I rather see Jackie in light HK fluff like this instead of him going for 'action' movies nowadays and failing.

Same goes for Gorgeous. I know many don't think much of it but I just enjoyed it as a fun light HK movie.

My ex ended up with the HK DVD. I quite enjoyed it.

I recall thinking it was OK when I first got it (haven't really watched it since), but thinking about the Brokeback Mountain gag in the film still makes me cringe.

The Brokeback gag was so brilliant. The film would be a masterpice if it had more of that quality. Unfortunately it doesn't...

I liked Gorgeous fine for what it is - a sweet romcom.

Same. Sweet film - one of Jackie's best post DMII films.

I enjoyed Gorgeous too, just a sweet, cute film
