@ Yi: I wouldn't expect much from Drunken Master 2. We all know it's gonna be the same English dub in America or Australia. I'm sure Disney still own it there and it's still not even been given a UK release. Those obviously aren't the only territories but Asia cannot even get that film right.

How come you have both? Isn't the AE rather dark? It looks like it is but I have only seen screen captures. Thanks. The Criterion price is definitely off putting.

Because I first got the AE, and then when I got a multi-region BD player I got the Criterion because it's technically a bit better, but it's only because I don't care about the price. The AE is fine to watch, I didn't find it too dark at all.

After postage at $6.48 (and given the time difference you won't be able to combine), The Crow will cost $11.47/£7.27 and Pulp Fiction $10.47/£6.63. I was going to get both but given the postage cost I'll just see if I can get Pulp Fiction.

Those are the only two that interest me. Lord of the Rings Extended box set would also be worth getting, depending on the price too. The latest Seven Samaria Criterion on DVD or BD is also in the sale but no price yet.

PST is 8 hours behind GMT. Which means Pulp Fiction will be cheap between 12:30am to 4:30am Tuesday morning over here.

I checked bang on 12:30am. It was sold out within seconds. These are lightning deals with thousands of customers after the same bargain. No wonder you missed out if you popped by 85 mins too late.

No not really. I wouldn't gone for Pulp Fiction but cannot really afford it. So it's a good thing, from one point of view.

Postage is 50c more at Deep Discount. Meaning Pulp Fiction is $10.97/£7.10 to the UK delivered.

I'm going to hold out for the UK Pulp Fiction BD to come down in price, it was only released last month and is already £11.97. It's the sort of title to shoot down after a few months. Of the Amazon Black Friday deals, Ronin is in this one too.

Dances with Wolves 2 Disc Extended cut is also part of the Black Friday deals at DeepDiscount (the UK one is 1 disc/theatrical cut), for $13.39/£8.66. I'll be able to sell my 4 Disc Limited Edition Korean box set (both cuts, leather packaging) on eBay .

Amazon has in it's Black Friday deals Lord of the Rings Extended cut box set on offer for $56.47/£36.54 delivered.

The cheapest I can find it in the UK is £39.95 from Zavvi. Grrr if only it wasn't such a ridiculous amount of discs, creating an artificiality high price. I only care about discs 1-6, not any of the 9 extras discs. The theatrical cut box set is now only about £14. I'll hold on to my DVDs for a extended cut re-release.
