buy em from Argos pay the full price and 5 quid postage
then get a 10 pound voucher for spending over 100 quid, then send the TV back and keep the voucher
I made 5 quid for testing out some TV'S
BARGAIN. My parents and I like the current LCD screen they have so they are keeping it as its pretty good looking, shame we dont have HD yet.

I didn't realise TVs fall into the 16 day return guarantee. I guess you're not really supposed to test them out, but as long as you don't let them know that you've used it, then you can get away with it.

How many times have you done it? Do they pay to collect the TV? If so fair enough.
For a TV that size I couldn't be bothered but fair enough.

Yup they collect them for free, did it 2 times and kept the 3rd TV
and got 2 - 10 quid vouchers out of it.

Nice people, silly too but nice. I guess they knew you'd buy one so £10 to them is nothing.
What TV did you keep? I presume it's your parents not yours?

Yup its my parents, its a Hitachi 8700 HD 37 inch LCD, its pretty nice and compares well with the best screens I have seen, just a shame I have no good HD stuff for them to show it off
except my PC when I plug that into it for them. They wanted a TV from Aregos only, so that was a hard thing to decide.

Thats a Moore Bond, isnt it? Personally, I'm only interested in the Connery and Dalton Bonds...
I dont care for the Moore and Brosnan era.

Yeah, A View to A Kill is Moore.
I might get From Russia With Love as one of them but I don't want to upgrade the 2 Connery Bonds I have ATM with the R2 UE's because they don't have original mono.

From Russia with Love IS a Connery Bond and also doesn't have Mono + the ones you have a are cropped, which is worse

True if you want two but not if you want one/three and so on (i.e - odd numbers). That said it's unlikely you'd only want one.
I was thinking of From Russia with Love (I hear that's one of the best Connerys) and Licence to Kill.
If you live in the UK they're even cheaper by 10p at Sendit or Choices UK (£11.99 BOGOF vs. £11.89 BOGOF). If you live in other parts of Europe Play or BlahDVD are the best (£11.98 from BlahDVD).
UK:
Sendit - BOGOF Confirmed £11.89
Choices UK - BOGOF Confirmed £11.89
Rest of Europe (maybe further):
Play - BOGOF Confirmed £11.99

All four companies are as good as each other.
p.s - They're £11.19 at DVDPopcorn.co.uk but they're not doing BOGOF (I tested this by adding two titles to my cart) so forget them!
