Grim's right. I was reading reviews for the longer cut on Amazon.co.uk, and most liked the extended cut, but some scored it wayyyy down because they were upset about Mathilda having sexual feelings for Leon, making ridiculous statements that it would be childpornography and that kinda BS

Anyway Mathilda doesnt actually ask Leon to have sex with her, but she implies it, and tells people he's her lover or something like that....

Edit: Paramount have given us poor sods in the UK NO extras, whereas the US BD has an audio commentary and documentaries. FUCKING BASTARDS. Guess I'm selling mine straight away then!

Looks like the US BD is a full-on Special Ed.

thank goodness Chinatown is an (brad mode) overated bore then.

Didn't make a great deal of impact on me, must admit... but then I find many of the acclaimed 70s 'classics' like that. It's unfashionable to say but I prefer 80s movies.

I've just watched it and yeah it didn't blow me away either, good though.
