Yup its agreed, I watched it recently when I got it in the Play sale for £2.99 (damn! wasted 2p!!) and hey its bloody hilarious! esspecially when the gimps on screenMarkgway wrote:People Under the Stairs is Craven's best movie.
That was old 2-discer, this is the new 3-discer 10th AE with all the extras from the R1 DE + DTS. Comparison here. MAJOR SPOILER WARNING.bradavon wrote:Re: Leon: Isn't the Korean DVD from a French master instead of the Sony one on the USA?
Fuck, it does too, thanks. Those fucking German arseholes. Prior post updated with spoiler warning.thelostdragon wrote:The comparison features a huge ass spoiler, btw.
I thought it was also from the French Master, my bad. Isn't Disc 1 from a different master than Disc 2?EvaUnit02 wrote:That was old 2-discer, this is the new 3-discer 10th AE with all the extras from the R1 DE + DTS. Comparison here. MAJOR SPOILER WARNING.
Cheers for the list. As for Gladiator that's a quality release at a good price, personally I sold my UK R2 and got the R1 cheap off eBay (new it's a rip off at about £16).EvaUnit02 wrote:Sendit.com Bargains
Gladiator Extended 3-discer -£6.89
Highly likely, but who gives a flying fuck? The US TC is garbage.bradavon wrote:Isn't Disc 1 from a different master than Disc 2?
Why did you bother? I thought that you owned the original 2001 2-discer w/ DTS? Owning the R2 EE without the TC seamlessly branched would be fine in my books, as I would always opt to watch the TC via the original 2-discer for the DTS track anyway. Fuck watching the TC in Dumby Stereo 5.1.personally I sold my UK R2 and got the R1 cheap off eBay (new it's a rip off at about £16).
I thought you'd have checked. Agreed it's not a patch.EvaUnit02 wrote:Highly likely, but who gives a flying fuck? The US TC is garbage.
Because I want both cuts and see little point owning two DVDs when I don't need to.EvaUnit02 wrote:Why did you bother?
I used to but sold it on eBay for a whopping £7.50. Sure the DTS is good but it's not enough reason IMO to own it twice.EvaUnit02 wrote:I thought that you owned the original 2001 2-discer w/ DTS?
Stereo??? Nah it's not good "enough" to own the film twice.EvaUnit02 wrote:Fuck watching the TC in Dumby Stereo 5.1.
Fuck the US TC disc, it's a coaster for all care.bradavon wrote:I thought you'd have checked. Agreed it's not a patch.
Sideways rocks, but Garden State is a over-rated. It's fairly refreshing for a Hollywood film but goes downhill rapidly in the 3rd act where it falls into rom-com genre cliches.romerojpg wrote:Kepep your eye out for Garden State on amazon.co.uk it was £2.97I had it in my basket along with Sideways both of them were £2.97.
Cheers but postage will make them more.romerojpg wrote:Kepep your eye out for Garden State on amazon.co.uk it was £2.97I had it in my basket along with Sideways both of them were £2.97.
Sounds cool, but how's the AV quality? better then the R3 HK disk I own?EvaUnit02 wrote:The R3K Shaolin Soccer 3-disc UE is coming back into print at the low low price of $6.97 USD. Features the DC with a DTS track and the hack-job international cut on separate discs.
The only other viable option is the R2UK Optimum release, the R1 is garbage.

Oh nevermind, Optimum unleashes it's bowels onto it from great heights. It also uses the HK master - minus all the integrated branching crap to get the DC.Yi-Long wrote:Sounds cool, but how's the AV quality? better then the R3 HK disk I own?
