Heroes of the East (Cine Asia) from HMV for £2 - the price was incorrectly marked at £8.99 - should have been £4, but with a 50% discount it was £2 :)

Only rewatched that the other night, have you seen the deleted scenes? It's driving me mad that they haven't released the original version so far, it would absolutely be an even better film. It's as bad as The Devils being cut, for me.

Never seen Jacob's Ladder in any form :o Are there deleted scenes on the BD? I bought Unknown as it sounded like a good puzzle/mystery film like Triangle :D

Nah I don't think they're on the UK BD. Once you've watched the film, you should watch them on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfMjoVYcg9g
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6krzUvx5Waw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF_rd2YFEiw

And this making of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teFyeqM9ZM4

And then you'll realise what an amazing film it would have been in its original form. I've asked Lionsgate to release it haha, you should do so too ;)

I looked in HMV yesterday and couldn't find any 3 for £12 offer, only a 3 for £18, with those titles included.

I must have got lucky as all those titles were reduced to £4 (formerly £8 with 50% off).

Hmm... did you say your HMV was closing down? Mine apparently isn't. Perhaps your store is doing more of a 'clearout'?

Yeah, it was probably as my store was closing down and clearing stuff out :) Shame its only when this happens do I see a genuine bargain (Heries Shed no Tears £1.99 etc)...

i'm going for the already released french release, all 3 cuts of the film on one blu-ray via seamless branching and reportedly excellent quality.
